I'm running it on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit final release version and an NVidia G-Force 9500GT
I'm having trouble with the "Snow" effect though, my snow is black! (not the snow backdrop that seems to work fine, just the effect that let's you put snow on any background) Shouldn't snow be white? It looks more like ash?! this is with all dreams and when I click the snow Icon it goes to the rainbow one instead so I have to go all the way over to the tiled Icon just to select the snow hmmmm
It also gets stuck when the snow reaches the bottom of the screen and sometimes crashes explorer. Any ideas? But if I uninstall Deskscape my Explorer works fine then.
It sounds like there might be some kind of material/texture rendering problem.. Try updating your video drivers from nvidia's site and see if that helps: http://nvidia.com

Yes I have downloaded the latest drivers from Nvidia and reinstalled Deskscape and still the same problem has to be something else I am uninstalling it again more help is needed thx
No need to uninstall. It seems that a few others are having this problem, including myself, and it looks to me that the common factor is the NVIDIA video cards and 64 bit Win 7. I feel certain that the Stardock team will get this worked out soon.
In the mean time, If you want snow you can always load up the Winter Snow dream and choose a wallpaper for the back ground in the "dynamic dream settings" tab.
This is all good but the main reason I uninstalled it is because Deckscape keeps crashing my Explore I can do with out the Snow no big deal there but my Explore is a big deal I totally love desckscape but at the same time I have to have my Explore in order to run other things on the computer if you are having this problem with your Explore how do I fix the problem with it crashing when Deskscape is installed?
