I've played multiplayer with this game since the very first day it launched. Yet it still never ceases to amaze me just how many dicks and assholes multiplayer with this game attracts.
Today I was on ICO. It often takes hours to get into a game. I had been patiently waiting a long time, just as many others had. Finally, a 10 player game filled up, hosted by Pawelo. Teams were being picked, when all of a sudden 2 Brothers In Arms guys who hadn't waited at all pop into the game chatroom and say "boot noobs so we can join!" Their names were:

The host promptly went down the line and booted "noobs" (basically people with unrecognized names or who hadn't played many games online) so that these clanners could join. The clanners laughed and made several references to booting the "noobs."
And people still wonder why the no one wants to play multiplayer? And people still wonder why multiplayer failed?
Is this how you clans want to represent yourselves?
To the leader of Brothers In Arms, do you care how your clan is represented? Do you care how your clan "brethren" conduct themselves and treat other people? Do you think this treatment of others by your clanmates (and this guy Pawelo, who, granted, isn't in your clan) was fair? Is this how you would want to be treated?
I already did, except it wasn't a clan only game. Booted Pawelo, and then both Z00MERS and KLMZ3 or whatever the hell his name is cursed at me and left. Z00MERS and KLMZ3 both told me that if Pawelo boots someone, that's fine, but if I do it, I'm an idiot and an asshole. I just laughed. It was the most hillarious thing I've ever heard of. I mean, I've heard of hipocrits and double standards and pots calling the kettle black, but this was taken to a whole new level. Z00MERS told me that when Pawelo boots, he "has a good reason," but when I did it to him, it was "for revenge" and that made me an idiot and an asshole LOL. KLMZ3 told me that since Pawelo is "good," he is "allowed" to boot, LOL. Again, just recalling the moronic nature of what I was told makes me laugh out loud.
Wow, Mate I lost even more repect to you now. Your doing what other skilled players are doing, and thats kicking people out of games for no valid reason. I can GURRANTE you now, that 99% of players on ICO have kicked people when hosting there own game.
Frankly, I dont really care if you kick skilled people at of your game, but it will backfire on you badly. Your fighting fire with Fire, and usally that doesnt work.

Well from the sound of it, I would say that you were doing it just to be an ass and others were kicking unknowns for knowns. The intentions behind the kicking are why it is different. If you think it is wrong to kick someone though, what does that show about your own ethics that you kick several people just because they are more well known just for your own ego. At least you were hosting your own game though instead of whining about it ad nauseum on the forums.

1. I think it's wrong to just punch someone in the face with no reason. But that doesn't mean I won't punch someone in the face for self defense - I've done it many times. Similarly, like most people, I believe that killing is wrong. It doesn't mean I won't blow someone's head off for breaking into my home, and it doesn't mean I don't support the death penalty for killers.

Funny you should say that. Last night (Saturday) I returned to playing Unreal Tournament (UT99) and had a blast playing on public servers and in some 5v5 capture-the-flag pug matches. I would load up Sins after each game intending to perhaps play Sins but my friends kept inviting me to play another round and once you're warmed up and pumped up it's hard to resist. I even saved a pug victory for my team by shooting rockets off of a platform down onto an enemy flag carrier when he was only a few steps away from scoring the tying flag capture with only 2.5 minutes on the clock, allowing me to return the flag. (If anyone knows what CTF-Bleak is, it was that map and I rocketted poor Bobo from near the sniper rifle pickup spot.)

Yeah, it was a pretty lucky shot. I just happened to be holding my rocket launcher and when I saw Bobo running towards his flag I reflexively spammed two or three rockets towards it and boom! I got him! Luck or skill, it was definitely a game-breaking play.

I'm actually on a secret mission to recruit some UT players to Sins. I pugged with a guy who has it and plays the AI now and then and would be interested in learning the online game if someone would tutor him, so maybe I can help him get up to speed. We'll see if he's interested in pursuing that.
I was being a d***, becuase some people just dont get it, they expect to enter games and not get kicked out of them, I kept telling these people to hsot there own games, did they listen? no. They kept moaning, and I HATE MOANERS! I wasent trolling, or being cocky becuase it as over the internet, I like to be blunt, and stright to the point, and if they dont listen and carry on moaning, then it gets right on my nerves.

I am annoyed with people like him, and others who think they an bad mouth players, who I think have done nothing wrong, being kicked from games is part of sins, i been kicked, and many others have before they get accpeted into games. its how it is, its not a good thing, but like I kept telling him, I DONT KICK PPL FROM GAMES ANYMORE, UNLESS IT SAYS SKILLED.

there were posts Agent made about the Marza Missile Barrage and how he was destroyed by Vasari as TEC but LRF spam, then how he was destroyed by Advent as Vasari by LRF spam, and in both he was whining, and i was annoyed as you are.
but when i was upset with him, i simply said stop whining, just get over it instead of complaining for the sake of it, etc etc whereas you are, imo, going way overboard and being silly/stupid to the point of making yourself look like more of a fool than Agent.

why? the sins community is not as bad as it is being suggested by agent and his cronies, I dont kick people anymore from my games if it dont say 'skilled on'
