So what is everyone's thoughts about the game for both online and offline play?
Anyone ticked beyond belief at the $60 retail price for pc version like I am?
Please no spoilers on the story for I do not own the game yet (as well others I'm sure).

Here in Norway I can see that the game is about $4 more expencive than for example Dragon Age and Football Manager. Not a lot, but I dont see why it should be slightly more expensive than other new games.
Anyways, this is not a game for me.
Well as master chief so eloquently named the games predecessor I too shall name its sequal. Cock of doody six modern gay fuck stupid 2 entertained me through its even shorter than the first one's campain for a few hours.
I tried the multiplayer for a few hours and I think it is just ok. It was obviosuly ment for consoles and consoles only. I am not happy like most that the max is 9v9...I mean come on...battlefield 1942 from the last decade had more players than that. The new perks and slightly better graphics are ok.
I really feel like the amount of work infinty put into this game could of easily just been an expansion pack for MW1. If your someone who loved the first one on PC then stick with the first one. MW2 will fall short for your expectations and dissapoint you in the end. I would wait till this game is like 20 dollars...which could be around 5 years since the damn thing costs 60 dollars.
Don't buy this literal console port; you're better off buying MW1 which is a real PC game. BUT MW2 has advanced features like mouse control and in game text chat!
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the in game text chat! What an innovation...give Infintity a nobel peace prize for that!
Fuck Infinity Ward and fourzerotwo

i don't own one but i saw one. damn. sick graphics. great game.
MW2 for PC fails . sorry . google more information on it if you want .
The game is superb on many levels. Cinematically the single player Campaign is unequaled by other First Person Shooters even on the PC. The graphics are gorgeous, sounds and atmosphere are also spot on. Overall it's short, you can replay it on harder difficulties but if you will never use the multiplayer content of this game the asking price is very high for what you would get.
The 2 player extra missions are superb fun to do with a friends, I really recommend you grab a friend and do them after the campaign.
Multiplayer is great for jump in and play fun. If you have played a multiplayer FPS on a console it's exactly like that, the system automatically matches a suitable game for you based on the type you choose and finds the best host and so far this has resulted in me experiencing a laggy game only once, some people complain of lag more but I'm not sure if that's just cause they got killed
In comparison to MW1 the difference in multiplayer isn't phenomenal but there is a lot of new stuff. New perk system, customisable kill streak bonuses and ways to customise your class with favourite items and specials. There is deffinately a lot more ways to die where you pretty much have no opportunity to avoid though such as Predator missiles, C130s etc. Hell of a lot of fun when you get them but not so much when you get killed by them!
Just a shame Left 4 Dead 2 has come out pretty much the same time, not sure how much CoD will get played in my group of friends now
