Bailknight's Graphic Mod is undoubtedly the highest quality graphical makeover for Sins of a Solar Empire. The following screenshot will testify to that. Unfortunately, Bailknight has been gone from the forums for some time now. In his absence, I've updated this impressive mod to include the gameplay changes introduced since Entrenchment 1.02. And so I shall attempt to maintain Bailknight's work until the man himself returns.

- Fixed texture for TEC carrier's missile turret that caused excessive bloom- Deleted Vasari Enforcer mesh (and its shield mesh) since the textures were applied incorrectly- Reduced opacity of the shield hit effect from 6x unmodded Sins to 2x

- Integrated all gameplay changes since Ent 1.02 patch- Changed Advent Adjucator weapon projectile effect- Deleted several unneeded files

Is this mod good to go with the latest Sins/Entrenchment patches?
As i said.. it works with diplomacy.. so it'll probably work for Entrenchment.. Isnt hard to just copy the folder to the new patch mod folder and test it.

Does this mod modify anything other than effects. I noticed some of the ships shoot differently (like the Kols Autocannons) would that effect anything in terms of firepower?
Things like the look of the Marza have been changed and weapon hardpoints to accomodate their effects differently. I don't believe any actual balance or stat changes have been made, but Moguta and Bailknight will know for sure.
Regardless, since mods with a different checksum can't be played online except for with others running the same mod and version, I always create a copy of the mod and remove the GameInfo and Mesh folders from it.
You can then disable the first and enable that one to have most of the effects work and be able to use it online. I only mention this because you can do the same thing for SP and have no concern at all that anything other than graphical effects have been touched in any version.
Nope. Only the graphics have been modified. Damage dealt is totally seperate from the graphical firing pattern.
Bailknight's mod originally also made all capships' ultimate abilities default to autocast. But since Bailknight didn't document that change, and since I believe that a Graphic Mod should stick to graphic changes, I removed that. You can rest assured that everything will play and act the same as the unmodded game.

Also, I verified that there's trouble with the Entrenchment 1.05 download. I've deleted and reuploaded the file, but it doesn't seem to be helping... All I can advise is to try Mediafire again later.
