What started out as an ooze beast build, turned into a thread where every hater from across the world who lost to this build before, or at the very least lost to the guy posting this build before, decided it was time to unite and spit their hate all at once.
I give you the morton's salt, saltiest player thread.
I'd like to add onto this quickly as well. You only assume 40% mitigation of autoattack damage, I assume from armor. However, ooze will reduce that number by another 40% from the attack speed reduction. Factor in the attack speed reduction to the numbers above and it becomes more like ~194 AA dps vs 169 AA dps, a difference of only 25 now (provided I did the math right). Essentially, you loose more damage output due to reduced attack speed as a pure ooze/stats than a hybrid because autoattack is a larger percentage of your total damage output.
IMHO the huge unmitigated damage from spit is just too good to pass up. All you really have to do is drop one person in a 3v3 fight and the skirmish is basically over. Dropping one significantly faster while only sacrificing a relatively small amount of survivability is a tradeoff I'll make any day.
This is why I titled it as such
acclimation reduces all damage, not just auto attack. So in a 3v3 if any of your guys casts a spell on the ooze beast, it procs acclimation. Not to mention that ooze is AOE, and in 3v3 melee everyone in combat will be effected by the ooze, slowing down your entire teams attack rate, not just the guy attacking the beast.
If they dont recap the xp flag then I maintain 20% xp advantage per creep wave. If you take it back, I lose that 20 percent, but then I run over for a recap for XP and get the 20 percent back in addition to the xp from the cap.
You can counter this by staying at the xp flag, in which case you give up the flag on the other side and creep waves for yourself.
Or you can cap lock it, which gives me a gold advantage.
What's generally going to happen though is that both parties will trade off on the flag over and over and end up breaking about even.
Dude, what's your problem? I'm not hating on any build. In fact, up till now, I've been quite civil. I've played against Ooze UBs before, and I've lost to him maybe once.
Unless you have a MASSIVE flag-cap lead, that alone doesn't get you levels.
Amount of XP gives per flag cap: 100 + 2*currentLevel
Even if you take into account an extra creepwave with every other flag cap advantage (mana side), that still sorta assumes you sent your opponent back to base: may or may not be true.
After level 10 (whcih is when you say you rape), you need to have a LOT of flag caps to have the advantage. The only time you will have that much of an advantage is if you were taking mana side while the opposing beast was on the fortitude flag: not flag capping and sharing XP from a creep wave. This isn't because you're a super-pro, it's because you double-farmed and he didn't.
Plus, when I'm stationed on the mana side, I tend to get Swift Anklet, and I will if I see you running around fast: this means I can beat you to the XP flag everytime you leave, before you cap it... at the very least, it's contested.
Depending on how well the fortitude side is going, I may or may not have someone go contest it for me, so that the double-farmer has no where to go. But it really depends on the situation (one of them down there has a lock, or they are already pushed back and we won't lose the tower if only one stays... etc etc etc).
Level - XP required to get to the next level.
Honestly, I think this is one of those builds where it gets too much advocacy simply because the quality of our player base is so poor. It has gotten to the point where a good player can beat more noobish players with such a variety of builds, that it makes people think that all the winning builds are somehow equal. Spooze is just better than Pooze. Anecdotal evidence may show that you can win with it, but the raw numbers really are against it.

Apparently you never saw Kalel's old UB build. He used to beat top ranked people with full spit, rank 2 ooze, one rank of claws, and stats. That doesn't mean it's the HOLY SHIT WTFBBQ BEST BUILD EVAR!!!!!!!1!!

I'm not going to bother arguing about this build anymore, I dont even play this game, I have to play 4 v 3's in order to get a match because no one wants to play me straight up.
I find it ironic that everyone who posted saying that this build is trash, are the same people who when they are in a lobby with me, will cry that the teams are not balanced, just because I'm not on their team and refuse to play.
Or the same people who'll play me once with their premade, lose, then never play me again.
I'm sticking around until the new demigods come out IN HOPES that the old players, the skilled players, come back at least for a little bit so I can get some good games in before I kiss this game goodbye.

Instead of askign for a rematch on the website, he just whines and complains. lolwat? your memory is terrabad. you were losing that match. you only won b/c one of our guys dc'ed. also ooze without spit is bad. mainly b/c if you try that shit vs another UB who is going hybrid you die. more dmg and health beats less dmg and speed EVERY TIME. heres why; speed stacking isn't that important b/c sure you can leave easier but so what? you can't push off a hybrid ub and any team worth a damn will STILL be able to out play you b/c everyone on their team can 1v1 your UB build.

For what it's worth, I like this build. I'm just not very good at it
Pure ooze is very good build(and will be even more when they buff Foul Grasp - and they should!!!). I before seeing explanation of his build never thought of it greatness. My personal build has always from the start been hybrid(UB my first dg). And i thougt there in no other UB build to match it, but i was wrong. Ooze build is very viable, but i'm not saying that it's better than hybrid, nor that hybrid is better than Ooze (i wont go in details here) but why cant you guys accept that Ooze build is good& viable, it does not sucks. I both agree with Obscenitor and Playground, they are both right, and have right arguments; it is kind of stalemate, and fighting which build is better is not really smart. (although i would personally give vote for hybrid, but that's totaly irrelevant cause both builds in right hands (of the same player if you want) are strong as hell and serve their purpose in game.
P.S.
beside, you can even max spit on pure ooze build after 15 lvl, if game would go that long. (very rare i know)
but if FG buffed, that is going to be maxed instead
