I wonder what the new capital does. It's either the envoy or there's a new cruiser. I managed to see the screens, I didn't see what the new cruiser looks like, the button was an LEV (obviously a place holder)
I haven't started playing yet but I just wanted to tell you what a great utility I think Impulse is. It is soooo much better than alot of games ,COD for instance, where I have to go to a third party for my updates. Both downloads and installs in less than one minute. Awesome.
Now lemme go play with my new toys.
I also wanted to say that I appreciate the Devs putting this out so close to the new release. I'm sure there was alot of overtime put in. And you poor suckers are probably salaried. Good job.

I keep reading about the new pictures, but I don't see the new pictures. Where is everyone finding these new pictures?
I didn't see them either, but the guys that saw them said they took them off. I guess they weren't supposed to be viewable yet.
Yeah I caught a glimpse of them, havent seen em since. But you should be excited.
Been waitign for this. For this one I am actuly earger tot ry out unlike 1.02 and 1.03: For now I still think fighters are going to be underpowered, but changes were made tot he targetign system so I will test that out before saying that part is fail or pass. But then rest does look like a pass.
I think someone got confused. There aren't any new capital ships in the works.
It seems like they come up on random, the new Diplomacy pics...I've seen them about twice in like seven visits. But it appears to be new cruiser (envoy) and new cap!!!!!!!!! (i hope)!

I think someone accidentaly put Diplomacy screenshots instead of the patch ones, that featured the the new envoy cruiser. And i think a 4 MB update is not big enough to include new ships.
I did see a new TEC cap ship in the screenshot I saw. It was either a new cap ship or the new envoy ship.
This new patch keeps on minidumping on me every 10 minutes into a game.

there were two different pictures that i saw. one had the TEC cruiser purchase screen opened, and it had 6, the sixth being the envoy cruiser (probably). the other had the TEC capital purchase screen open, and there were also 6 buttons. no one seems to know what the sixth "capital" is, or at least the devs arent telling us. i hate to accuse them of lying, but they didnt say that it was an error. perhaps they want it to be a surpise...

Saw both the screenshots in the latest media section. Besides the build menus, the new relationship screen and the diplomacy techtree looked interesting.

That's IMO the diplomacy cruiser.
Because if you look closely at teh one of the frigate factory de button looks like the TEC controctor ship. Top arm facing back. Buttom arms facing forward.
