I have been playing this game for 6 weeks or so... you began on APR 24th with a win (kuddos by the way.) Can you even imagine how frustrating it is for a new player to break into this game? I have lived (lol... still am living) the reality of having to go up against 6-month veterans like yourself... you did not have to face that during your 7th week... you were raging through the custom game (kuddos again by the way for finding a niche and exploiting it... as a rookie, I have c. chosen the one light demi that can agument/impact his teams effort... thus I snipe and buy curr like there is no tomorrow... (I tried running after every on as a speed-skating Sedna with a heal... but that didn't work out so well... lol)

... yes, I found a niche for myself and have clearly benefited by the ranking system reset (and noone is more surprised by all this than myself!!!) but in truth the vast majority of my drops did not result in an AI taking my place (I have checked this repeatedly since I began mining this niche) and the 20 to 25 seconds it should take everyone to realize that I dropped are not irreplaceable... although if you are playing only during your lunch break (as someone has stated), I can clearly why I am persona-non-grata...

...to make amends, i have taken and stayed in every match this evening, and i have dropped matches when it was clearly 3 light against 3 AI and when it has been too long (and I was the only player have sat in the queue)... have I forgone approximately 1200 favor points for the light... yes i have (sorry Rike!!!) but for this day alone, I will try something allot more acceptable by this oftentimes-caustic forum... we will see what tonight's midnight posting does to my ranking... I have also applied to GunslingerBara to have my points redacted or otherwise adjusted as SD sees fit to ameliate the level of... havoc, my actions have generated within this community...

...on a separate note, even this 6-week rookie has noted that the number of Demigod participants both Custom and Pantheon has been on a steady decline, but when the overriding intent of the majority of the community is to gank the new player, I ask you... is Demigod fatally flawed? Will you, I and Ob be the only ones sitting around in these forums 6 months from today? (Yes, that is an exaggeration but maybe not as big a one as we might realize...) I would value you thoughts?

I have already said in this discussion that my own stats are skewed from AI in Panth, i beleive i have mentioned this twice. Difference is i don't seek out AI games. I don't quit one when it starts, i will play it out, but i don't quit from human games to seek out AI only games. I have said already that my rank is not a reflection of my skill.

Nor am i a ragequitter. I will happily admit to RQing a game once way back just after release where it was a 1v1 on Cruc, i was Reg and Multiana played a tower rook. Other than that, i have not RQ..i will take the ass whipping...ryan has whipped my ass plenty, i don't ever recall quitting one of them.

As for playing Panth with Piz....So? We both play Panth and due to our locations (US and AU) we often cannot both get into the same custom game, Aussie lobbies aside. So we both fire up Panth and play on there, where we cannot be kicked for ping. We play the games on offer be that human or AI, we don't look for AI only games.

I admit we do that....i do not see the issue with it. I have played many games with other guys as well on Panth (snakeblade)...when the pickings are slim and you play many games in a row, you tend to be with the same people at times.

If playing in Panth at the same time as a friend is also deemed an exploit, i'd be happy to stop...but then id love to see more tolerance of 300+ pings in customs.

Huh? I could care less one way or the other mate. Nor Havoc, I or any other player who has AI exp should be ranked where we are. Who is better is meaningless, this is a team game, a weak or strong player does not mean a win or loss.

I play Panth cause i enjoy playing other modes of play, IE, games that are not Conquest on Cataract. Try hosting a dominate on Zik game and see how long, if at all it takes for your lobby to fill up.

As for premades..i have already said in this or another thread about getting a Aussie Pre together to take on some of the other pre's. Plus as you well know, when you are the only AU player in a US 3v3 or 4v4 you are not really wanted.....

My premade at best atm consists of me and Piznit, we have at time two other friends who play but both have tighter schedules....I'll go so bold as to speak for Piz here, but we would be happy to play other pre's....Shade and Kal whipped us thoroughly on prison once....it was a great game!

I actively tell people when questioned that my rank means nothing and that i am a solid 50/50 player. Before this reset took into account AI panth EXP, i was about rank 1200...about where i should be i guess,

Should i stop playing Panth altogether due its faults and the ranks? I do no exploit the Panth to get AI only games, i want to play humans. If by playing with friends in Panth is deemed an exploit, then we will try getting into more customs....but unlike Havoc, i do not seek out AI only games.

you are calling him out on things that are out of his own control. he cannot control if someone is going to disconnect from the game or not. whether he desides to continue playin against AI is none of your business. he can enjoy the game however the fk he wants.

just because u(and the rest of this community) dont like how hes got high stats doesnt mean its his fault. because farming against people who have disconnected is WITHIN THE RULES, you are ALLOWED to do this.

AI is a fundamental flaw in the game. people say fix AI but u cant in games like this, its impossible. thats y the only solution is to REMOVE IT from the game.

you should play more custom, everyone knows how premades are branded in this game.

you are exploiting pantheon because its random team and you are joining as a premade on purpose because u want to play with him. all other premades play CUSTOM games, just check the stats of the top players who premade together, how often do they play pantheon together as a team?

thank you StAcK3D_ActR... until yesterday (and I understand that pacov is still a hater) I did not have confidence in my abilities to take on all Pantheon challengers...

but yesterday I did... any doubts? ...then please check the dtg of my matches, you will quickly see that i went from one to another to another to another... and you know what, i kicked some butt - split 4 matches with Nil (kuddos by the why Nil for being the one 5 weeks ago who taught me that a mine Reg is better than an AF Reg... )... also even a casual review of my losses will note that i stayed in matches where i began with ai on my team and when teammates had dropped...

I played to the end of every match and no one, and i do mean no one can possibly state that i dodged a start up screen because i did not... i followed through on every human v human match (being completely honest, after the first loss with ai on my team, when I noted 2 dark players i knew in a start up ai-match, i did drop... but even u would not stick around in a situation like that i beleive) anyhow, this has all been a very educational experience for me... thx

...on a completely differrent note, my long-expected but not-much-embraced PCS move is taking place beginning today and for the next two weeks... it will be very limited hotel connectivity for me... "very-unhappy-face"...
