I played a game today and approached an enemy border. I then got the "Do you want to start war" (or what the text is) window. I clicked Yes and just got the same window again. I clicked about 20 times and gave up. I then clicked no and the window went away. I tried again next round (to be sure it wasnt because of no more available movement). The same happened again. I then went along the border for a turn and tried again. Then everything worked fine.
ya the whole diplomacy and AI haven't been added yet, so i would think thats why the relationship with factions doesn't work right, It was the same for me,

I also have regurlarly this problem. Waiting a turn or two will let you try and succeed, but i wasn't able to reproduce the problem when I want. Sometimes you just have to wait one turn, sometimes a lot of turns.
I did a quick scan of the kryofx.com list, but didnt find the problem listed (as you did - kudos to you). I guess we have found most of what ithere is to be found now.

Yep I just had the same problem with one nation today in a game. CLICK 20 times "Oh I give up! Your people are spared today..." Keep on patching!
Got this problem today with version 0.24
First empire I encountered it worked fine. Second one, clicking yes wouldn't work.
I'd love to see a reproducable set of steps for this. Or even a gamesave the next time it happens. I was not able to reproduce it here at the office.

The behavior I saw was that I could successfully declare war on an empire (Kraxis) but not a kingdom (Capitar). I'm pretty sure I saw the same bug against an empire (Kraxis, actually) before in another game but not in this particular game.
