My own settled cites have a line of sight (no fog) around them whether they have units or not, but my captured cities are fogged out.
Did you end turn so the city you just captured grows in influence? I didn't notice having no sight on captured cities after that.
Multiple turns later, they're both (two cities right next to each other) fogged out. I could see the influence ring around both, but that's it.
I am not able to get that bug. I took over a lot of cities too.
I'll see if I can reproduce it and screenshot it this time.
Conquered Rahi but no LoS. I also conquered the city on the far left but I do have LoS there. I didn't at first but I think it's because I constructed a farm and some other buildings and that's what gave me LoS. I also found that even though I didn't have sight under the FoG on a city, I could still select it and give it orders.
Cool, that's exactly what I had. Two new towns, neither with anything built in them or any units stationed in them and no LOS. Possible that's by design I guess, thanks for figuring out the common factor.
I was playing around with it just now, and I noticed to failure to produce fog of war. I have not been able to approch a city and get far enough way to see if it fails to do so on the first turn, but I'm sure the capturing of cities will be ironed out.
Edit: I managed to reproduce it.
Great screenshot +1
