I just want to know if anyone uses a build centered around this skill because i haven`t seen any in this forum.I think it`s an interesting and powerful skill if used correctly, but so far i haven`t been able to successfuly incorporate it in any sedna builds , so if you have any idea let me know.
Full support sedna has it.
1 heal
2 hw
3 save
4 heal 2
5 hw2 silence
6 mag precense
7 heal
i think i would save till 10, or get mabey pounce for the interrupt.
that means
10 silence 2 ,mag pres 2, and heal 4 leave this out if you want pounce.
For gear, get a mana helmet and nimoth for some armor/hp unbreakables are standard for me on any god, scalemail helps for even more armor and is only 400 it hink.
Favor, hmm i like cloak of the night, saves my life atleast 3 times each match. Combiend with that 550 helmet it gives ok mana.
Later lvls id focus on pounce and further ranks of silence/mag precense. Counter healing is nice if there generals have bisschops.
This build will work best with tankish other gods. Like beast (spit/ooze hybrid) oak (6 spirits/surge faith/pent) sedna ( this build), thats a scary team.
Silence... I kill you
Har, I thought the same.
I find silence to be pretty useless. Every once in a rare while it is slightly helpful, but at what cost? 800 mana just to force him to autoattack for 3 seconds? You've already got one of the best interrupts in the game in pounce, and with senda mana = heal. The only time it's useful is to silence someone then tele out or pot, but with sedna you should oh so rarely be in a situation to do either. Sigil is always better then a pot, and sedna should never be in a position where it has to tele out or get ganked. (Unless, perhaps, you spent too many points on silence).
Yeah, I've never had luck with silence, except for once, when there was a huge fracas where everyone is in a mess and I can't target heals reliably, things are happening too fast, so I just silence over and over to keep my opponents from stunning my team.
If you pop silence at the begin of the fight there initial gank will be ruined. Or delayed, however, this does give your team the advantage. The Op asked for a silence build, not if it was a usefull ability or not
i find silence to be awesome on cataract when enimes are trying to cap ur ports.
if a vamp comes to try cap the flag u can silence and he cant batswarm away from the towers dealing huge damm to him.
also it stops those pesky 'tank rook builds' from poping a hp pot or sigil.
I've tried Silence with a very aggressive Erebus player who is dependent on the blink -> bite -> batswarm trick to get a final kill next to a tower. It works pretty well (once), then they play more cautiously. Which is exactly what you want.
Just like when people think you don't have pounce @ level 8 because you hvaen't used it yet then you hit them hard with it after they are overconfident they can eat potions in your face and they are like lolwtf?
Tower rooks, I suppose it's useful. And it does delay a teleport-out, but, in my opinon, Silenec is only a 'winning' skill. If you're already winning and you're just trying to get 'one more' kill.
The only time Ive seen silence work effectively is when combined with an Ice TB. The chain effect left little to no time to use any skills.
The most essential item with this build is a Magnus Rod. Silence and Magnus Rod run on an *identical* cooldown, so they synergize exceptionally well. You'll be able to cast Silence at 50% mana cost constantly. If you want a legit Silence Sedna build, you should use the Diamond Pendant and Magnificent Presence. At level 10, it will reduce the cooldown of Silence by 3.3 seconds. If the map is Cataract, the cooldown on Silence is 9.45 seconds. It will also reduce the cooldown of the Magnus Rod, too.
Yeah, if you mix in an ice TB, it turns into a "You can't do anything" duo.
Stacked_ActR uses a Silence Sedna build. Maybe he'll share it with us. I think it's a legit build.
It's REALLY good at stopping QoT from casting Bramble Shield. It's like instant death for her.
Try silence support sedna with an ice tb. If you are on vent premade and time everything correctly it can dominate. However im not a fan of either one its own. Only do this if your premade. And practice it first.
