With Pax coming up the 4th and running to the 6th. It would seem that a beta release is eminent. Who can be the first to guess the correct date?

I agree with the 10th, they do enjoy a Thursday release and it will be right after PAX. Additionally, on the homepage they already lied (read "respectfully changed the date with utmost courtesy due to only wishing to give us a satisfactory beta experience") to us once, it used to say "June" before it said "Summer".
I really, really hope it's within the next two weeks...

Pfff... They already lied once when they promised the beta for July... Can't trust these programmer types, alwyas telling the customer what the customer wants to hear, but behind the customer's back...

From the http://pax.stardock.com/ it says that (regarding Impulse) "Phase IV will be available on September 9th 2009." My money is on any date from the 9th - 11th and since the 10th appears to be a quite popular, I think that day would have the highest chances. Of course I could be wrong and it could just come out sooner.

I don't think you can really announce a winner until the beta is actually out. The Stardock servers could go down tomorrow before the beta gets uploaded and it gets delayed. You never know
so where is this mysteries information? I can find any where where it say beta is 9/17
It was said on IRC earlier today. And Kyro comfirmed that they are looking at tomorrow, 9/17, as being the release date for the beta in a thread on the forums (don't remember which)
