Chance per attack 3%/7%/11%/15%.Please give feedback
Brilliant work! The Shadow Dance is a bit OP I think. It could have a 1.5 sec cast time, and a bit higher Mana cost.
And how does Kharma affects Shadow Dance?
Yeah sorry I didn't include cast times or anything, I'm new to this site and just thought I'd toss out an idea I had. And the way kharma works is that each spell cast while in Yin form hurts himself by that % and each spell cast in Yang form heals himself by that %. So in Yin form he deals a lot of damage, but in return hurts himself, and while in Yang form doesn't have any dmg spells, he can heal himself and others quickly, but drains lots of mana. Thanks for the feedback. -Yoshi
3. Shadow Dance (dark): When in Yin Yang mode the Yin(dark) side can use this ability. Yin does instant cast aoe spell for dot. Area: 10 Damage: 400/700/950/1200 over 5 seconds. Mana cost: 400/500/600/750
i dont think this is OP. you said if u in yin form u sacrifice health when he casts a spell (im assuming, u should make it more clear). i reckon thats enough of a negative effect to counter its strength. but mana cost i think should go, 300/500/700/900.
4. Hideous Laughter (dark): Yin targets an enemy demigod laughing at them for 1/2/3/4 seconds. For each second he laughs he strikes terror in their mind dealing 200/200/250/300 damage per second and causes them to lose 150/200/250/300 mana per second. Range: 10 Mana cost: 500/650/750/850
i think maybe during the 4 secs, yin moves X% slower. only coz it takes away mana along with dmging their health.
5. Spite (dark): Yin targets an enemy demigod. Yin's movement speed increases 5%/10%/15%/20%. Yin's damage against that demigod increases by 10%/20%/30%/40% (including spells). Duration: 5/7/9/11 seconds. Mana cost: 400/600/800/1000
i think this skill is prob the most OP here. i don tthink his movement speed should increase, unless u lower the amount of dmg it deals (30% being the max).
8. Charm (light): Yang stuns an enemy demigod for 1.5/2/2.5/3 seconds and after the stun they have decresed movement speed by 10%/15%/20%/25%. Mana cost: 500/700/850/1000
the mana cost may justify its strength but this character has no mana support. if u change hideous laughter to "u steal X amount of mana" maybe this skill would be more viable. its cast time should be like 2 secs also.
9.Twisted Fate (passive): Occasionally the other brother's strength is combined. They have a chance to critical strike for double damage (2x). Chance per attack 3%/7%/11%/15%.
if u pair this up with slayer wraps, u got a whole lot of critical going on. not sure if it would be OP though.
anyway thats wat i think ... u can take it into account or not. but i rlly like the idea
In response to gkrit:
Yeah I had a feeling the mana costs I did for each ability were a bit off, because this is my first character build and I just kind of guessed.
i think maybe during the 4 secs, yin moves X% slower. only coz it takes away mana along with dmging their health. For this spell I thought it would be more like a channeling spell, so that during the 1/2/3/4 seconds Yin could not move. So maybe instant cast(or 1-2 sec) and then Yin goes into trance for duration of spell. Also Yin does not steal the mana he causes them to lose, it's more like a mind burst.
i think this skill is prob the most OP here. i don tthink his movement speed should increase, unless u lower the amount of dmg it deals (30% being the max).Yeah 30% max might be a good idea, when I was building it I was comparing it to UB's Bestial Wrath, so maybe I could lower dmg increase and raise mana cost? Or maybe have Yin take dmg per second while in this mode.
the mana cost may justify its strength but this character has no mana support. if u change hideous laughter to "u steal X amount of mana" maybe this skill would be more viable. its cast time should be like 2 secs also.Like I said above Hideous Laughter doesn't steal mana. And yeah I didn't include cast times, but I know there wouuld be one for most of their spells.
if u pair this up with slayer wraps, u got a whole lot of critical going on. not sure if it would be OP though.Yeah I was worried about passive crits being OP, but if it were an ability only available at level 5 or something maybe not as much? But yeah it would need to be tested.
anyway thats wat i think ... u can take it into account or not. but i rlly like the ideaThanks for the input and I'm glad you like the idea -Yoshi
well the point i tried to get across with hideous laughter "draining mana" is that all of this characters' skills cost ALOT of mana. so i was thinking that this skill could give him some mana support.
Oh. Well I was trying to have them cost a lot of mana, so that he couldn't spam them. Also so that he would ahve to take some mana items instead of having all armor and weapons. But I dk, he can always change.
What could also be an ide for an ability to this demigod was some kind of split.
That your demigod was split in a light and dark beeing, with half the hp and power as the combination.
And if one of the parts were killedboth died (light can't exist without darkness and vica versa).
maybe this deactivated all abilites except "merge"(targets a location on the map where both parts go to to merge)
But it would mean that the player could be 2 places at once.
like ying capping flag whiel yang is going back to upgrade.
or capping two different flags fast.
Generaly a state where you don't want to be in for long, but that you activate when you want to be 2 places at once.
I believe somebody already came up with a demigod that splits, not that it should stop me from making a better demigod if possible. But I think that ability would be OP if used correctly. Maybe I could use the idea for another demigod, thansk for the feedback.
Yeah. you are probably right.
Ying Yang allready got 2 states so I guess a splitting fits better another place.
I like the general idea and how his strenghts are a combo of health/dmg but for yin i think that his skills should be quite cheap in mana cost because he has a fuckn high disadvantage there and he is not mana strong. The health debuff is enough, and for ying i think hes good. If u need a story at all or any suggestions i got u covered
