I think I have managed to lose every game I have played today... and some of the games I played I did really well too... but... some of the games I had some really bad players were on my team. Tell me what on earth possesses people to run from a fight when it is 2v1 (you have the 2), they are not even taking any damage, they still have full HP, and if they wouldn't have ran all the way back to town, instead of dying to an enemy with only 100 HP left, you would have actually won?
Hah, it seems like every game, the n00bies are easy to spot. They run with full HP at the first sign of taking a single point of damage.
So you'd rather have them feed the enemy?

Meaning THEY RAN AWAY AND LEFT ME IN THE LURCH.. so that the other team got fed.
This goes along with I am full health and I see my half health teammate being persued by a half health beast... do I a) help my teammate out and best the beast or go over here and randomly capture a flag while the beast catches and destroys my teammate and strolls over and eats me anyway while I am all by my lonesome at the flag...
*sigh*
I think I see what he's getting at. Sometimes 2v1 I go ballsdeep and relise my little buddy ran away and left me to die. Oh well... communication sometimes just has an epic fail and people aren't paying attention. Happens to me sometimes, and hell, I do it sometimes.

the majority of players playing are noobs and premades so your mostlikely going to face a premade or get a noob on ur team
i recoment you if you not want to play whit noobs just look stats in panteon, if you see realy big noob in your team just leve, i dont cere myself about stats i am in 25k place but play realy good, but i realy hate playing whit BIg noobs in team they just piss me of
If your name is an indicator then you prolly play Erebus and as such all you really need to win is have a team-mate NOT get farmed, seems to me they are doing that just fine.
If you trust someone to watch your back in a fight, better to learn here that it does not always happen, a bonus when it does but nothing to trust your life on.
i hate playing with noobs who have bought te game come on think there a uber pro and get owned constantly and bitch about it

So... for automatching in pantheon... match single players with single players and match teams with teams. If enought people are playing then create matches based on ladder rank, or maybe even just number of games played--and if not, then match whoever is available. But keep teams with teams and single players with single players.
I'm the noob that runs away only after realizing my HP is below 25%. And then I die. Or a miracle happens.
So running away with full HP... well I guess they're slightly better noobs than the AI.
That's me because I am expecting help from my buddy who's RIGHT NEXT TO ME.. but is too busy kill that tower to help US fend off the opposing Demigod...

i have nothing against noobs, everyone has to begin somewhere, but that butterfly catching thingy is really infuriating, i totally lost my temper when a teammate has done that during the whole match. Well, that and engaging alone 2 ennemies.
So.. the guy was already heading to town to buy something and you spotted a DG on a nearby lane and charged them without saying anything to the "noob teamate" who "ran away" to town eh? Then got all angry cause he did not bother to read your mind.

If you see a 1 vs 1 and are near, and you are, id say above 50% health, you go to it. Mabey even less.
Even if it was only to scare the other god away and get the flag or summing, or get your buddy out!
You have a mini map, and should always be zoomed out far enough to keep an eye on incoming Dg, its not hard to spot a fight.
Added to that, typing when your in a losing fight can be tricky, so i see no reason to defend a dg who walkes away, to town, with full health when your buddy is taking a beating.
No mana is not a good reason since in a 2 vs 1 your auto attack will be enough to make a difference.

I tend to agree. I'll put myself in danger if it can save a team mate, even if we're not going to get the kill, because the down time from a death can decide the game at the wrong/right moments.
What really gets under my skin, is when you and a team mate(s) are moving as a unit, a SINGLE enemy team member happens upon your group and they run away turning what should have been an easy kill and a lesson for the other guy into a 1v1 fight, with the entire enemy team possibly in the fog of war behind him. I get so damn angry when that happens!
I think you can divide the team mates into 2 groups - Those that play WOW and those that dont.
I cant think of a better game that really promoted team work like WOW. its the one game I know that even at lv.80 you cant solo a 25man raid on your own. So whether you want to or not, you ARE gona learn to function as a team and dead team mates mean more fire on yourself and precious time lost for respawns.
I think the will be my universla question when I finally start playing DG online. "ARE ANYONE OF YOU WOW PLAYERS?" answer "YES" then I stay, answer: "NO" and I also stay but know Im gona have to look out for my own ass and provided what ever minimum assistance I can give.........hell who knows, maybe I have it totally wrong but we'll see

Sure.. I agree. I just hate people that don't communicate in a game, then bitch afterwards. I've played voice games with people that bitch and complain the entire game about one of our teamates performance, yet they never type a word into chat.

No, I liked playing with Fuesar. This was just some random game I was in the other night.
I go in and attack a tower. It hits me hard, but I'd take it down just barely. However, I have a Rook right behind me. Except, he stays right behind me. He's actually in tower range, but won't attack it. He's not actually doing anything, and they have full health. Just as I take the tower down, I get sniped and a TB pops up and fireballs me and I die. ook then runs and rages at me, quitting a moment later.
I see noob TBs get rocked in 15 seconds of a good beast... I tell them RUN unless I AM CHASING
If your not chasing someone your not winning you are at a draw...
Also
If you can't stay alive in 1v1 then you can't quite call someone else a noob. If you stayed for any part of a 2vYOU same thing... if you wanted to stay for a 2v2 when you had fewer flags... same thing
