I don't think i'll have the time to update all my widgets/themes/suites containing weather quickly.
So until i get that time i pushed out of public area (own decision) all my stuff with weather.
Sorry about this.
When i'll get the time they will come back.

What Bichur said.^^^^^^^ There is never any need to apologize for doing the right thing.Maybe Stardock doesn't care about DX's reputation,but obviously you care about yours.
Stardock take care of his reputation. This weather problem is the problem of widgets/gadgets/themes ' authors.
Weather.com changed his requirements so skinners who used his feeds must update their skins to match this requirements.
This has nothing to do with stardock or desktopx reputations or responsabilities.
I'm not sorry to hide my stuff, i must do it. I'm sorry that i don't have really the time to quickly done the updates.
This is NOT a problem originating from Stardock as has been explained 100x over in other threads.
I understand that but it isn't the authors that will look bad to the general public. We know that DX is a great app,but I feel that new people will write it off as buggy even though that is not the case. I'll shut up now,before I make anyone else angry at me for voicing my opinion.
You're right about new people. But then we(users)'ll tell them what's really going on.
You like everyone is free to voice an opinion.
But it would have been better if you'd voice it that way first than just tell that SD doesn't care of his reputation as it's not true. SD can't do the stuff for us (skinners).
It's us who need to update our skins to match the weather.com requirements or to find another weather chanel for our skins.

Those registrations thingy not will work...
I think I will remove all my custom dx widgets, cos no other way now...
you may have notice SD add accuweather links and only 3 days forecast... for eg.
That mean they have a contract with accuweather the same way(better it seems) weather.com ask us.
So it's not a solution. I've contacted accuweather to know what is needed as requirements to use their feeds and haven't got any answers for now.

I don't know what are the requirements for now as i said i'ven't got any answers for now.
I just said that it must have a contract/TOS with accuweather too.
Now it's not at SD to give us a template, if they do it's nice but we are skinners so we can do it ourself i guess.
It will be impossible to explain this problem to all the people who visit wincustomize. If they're anything like me,they won't be reading the forums. They'll come here via links from places like Download.com. And the stuff won't work. They'll simply keep their Yahoo widgets or some other widget. It's unfortunate as these widgets are tied to virtually every cool theme in the gallery. There are screen shots every where with instructions to go here and down load this. Either the widget won't work or it won't be available. Right NOW TODAY DesktopX looks like a really buggy program to the average Joe. Virtually every system monitor has weather attached to it.
I'm just surprised that not one person noticed the problem. I noticed the logo's on the Stardock products but wasn't privy to any of the agreements. Even in black and white some of the skinners didn't get what the agreement actually meant.
