As I stated in my title is itr possible to make the Dreadlords a playable faction? I am also looking for where all the races info is stored and cant find the dreadlords at all. How would one go about doing this? I assume that the dreadlords info is already there and all one needs to do is just make it accessible as a race to select in ther startup screen.
My modding skills are not that great so far all I have been able to do is make it so you can use the Pirate ship styles..

RaceID must not be 23. CivType changed to 3. Logistics at least 6. And, the Ignore tag line has to deleted.
Only in DA or TA though (and for sandbox mode games), by replacing any one of the default races with such corrections made to a new RaceConfig.xml file which will eventually be loaded from the correct Data folder root picked within an activated mod directory.
So where do I goto do this? Thanks for the help though, once I find where it is I think I can do this. Can I have them a custom race so I dont have to replace a main race. I would not mind replacing my Custom build race with this
So I change 23 to just 3?
OMG I figured it out! Now with some minor tweaking they should be awesome!
Update well I messed it up LOL it keeps displaying the dreadlords with that neutral race LOL so I had to uninstall the game and reinstall it LOL I just need to it replace a custom race I have rather than an actual faction, I gotta figure that out now.
For custom -- the raceID must be 12 and possibly get another name too along with a few more set of alternate graphics such as Logo & other stuff. Never tried, but IIRC... there was a mod in the library that tried that.
I saw that one However I want mine to be more "canon" so to speak if you catch my drift.
