So I was in my first MP game in a while. It was near the end when the other 5 players all dropped out leaving me against 5 AI. I don't know what that means. So my team eventually won the game.
But I see the game recorded on the web site as my 2 teammates got a win but I got a loss? And only 5 favor points?

Yeah, it wasn't that 'everyone else dropped' but rather that there was a schism in your game, and you went on to play a fake version of the actual game, while your two buddies were playing the 'real' game. They won it, you got counted as a drop, and lost.
When everyone drops at the same time, that means that you are one that actually dropped. They all lost their connection to you, and you were replaced by an AI in their game. You, however, lost your connection to all of them, and had all of them get replaced by AI's in your game. Apparently DG does not let you know this and lets you continue to play against AI's despite the fact that it's a fake game and you are going to get a loss on your record.
Uggggggg. And we were on the verge of winning too. Lost a lot of favor because of that disconnect. Oh well.
We call that a "server split"
Once a split happens just quit the game, there's a high chance it's not going to count.
