Greetings Demigod player!
We've got a lot of exciting new features coming out for Demigod this month in version 1.1 but we wanted to let you know that we did a significant update this week that incorporates a largely multiplayer connection system that was developed by Stardock.

To help encourage an active on-line community, we will be sending out coupons to players who have been playing on-line. This first coupon is being sent to all Demigod players regardless of whether they play on-line or not. It's 20% off of any item on ImpulseDriven.com. This week Impulse began adding new titles from Activision and Ubisoft.
We will continue to send out coupons to active Demigod players over the coming months. On behalf of both Stardock and Gas Powered Games, we look forward to your input on the Demigod forums (www.demigodthegame.com) for new features you would like to see.

...I STRONGLY disagree re: COH Tales of Valor. I loved the 1st 2 games, but I typicaly play single player on that series. And TOV is crap on ice for SP. There aren't that many games I was angry I purchased, but that is one of them... perhaps cool if MP content is your only bag, but believe me, SP took me 3-4 hours tops to complete and it was sloppy... felt like mods the devs tinkered with and then turned into an expansion pack. Avoid if you are are looking for primarily SP with some MP on the side. Meh.
But on the positive, I am currently enjoying prototype (although on the PS3). -
Well, being as this Coupon expires in two days I'm unable to use mine. Anyone who wants it, let me know via the Personal Message system.
Next time, I hope we have at least seven days to use it. I have to use Pre-paid credit cards, and it's currently the weekend here so all of the stores who handle the Pre-paid credit cards are closed.
i still dont have my coupon... what the hell? if its only good for 3 days... well, i kinda need it sooner rather than later...
Well, I wasn't really complaining. I was really happy to see the mail and all. It was just a little dissapointing when I couldn't use the discount. PayPal really is the only way I can buy games via Impulse, so I guess I'm not able to use any of the future coupons and that sucks.
I wasn't implying everyone was bitching, I was just frustrated to see another thread about a good, cool thing like a coupon.

This is not a thanks for putting up with the rough launch, that was the 50% off coupon. These have been planned since December as a way to increase community and encourage online play. They werre also planned as "participant" prizes in tournaments, while cash prizes where planned for winners.
I used mine to pre-order Elemental & SOTS ANY + purchased SOTS Ultimate. Pretty sweet savings.
I have not received a coupon.
I also haven't played Demigod for a couple weeks.

Indeed, it is the same for everyone.
Its a pity that there's only a few days to use it. But considering some people are not able to use it within this timeframe its not really the best thing Stardock could do I suppose.. But I appreciate the extra discount You wont hear me complaining.
The Paypal problem is funny though.. maybe contact support?
