Previously, there was the option to select 1280x768, and 1366x768. Now, these settings have disappeared!
I tried modifying the game.prefs by adding the lines with these settings with no avail.
Also, changed the primary adapter to 1280x768, and as soon as Demigod starts it gets changed to 1024x768 and its labeled as window in the option menu. Is there something I’m missing when editing the game.prefs?
Note:
I had my Nvidia control panel scale the image without keeping the original aspect ratio to fill the whole computer screen, but the images look Fat and weird. So, I used the scaling keeping original aspect ratio and images look nice but with bars on the side. How come the only two options for widescreen are 1920x1080 and 1920x1200? (My native resolution is 1920x1200, but since my video card is a GeForce 9650M on an Intel T9400, I need to use a lower resolution. Any suggestions are appreciated.

i still have 1280x768,thats my resolution in game, and it's still there, something is wrong at your pc...
I also still have them all. Updated at latest patch as of today. I have a 16:9 laptop and get the 1366x768, 1280x768 and other resolutions.
Have you changed your video drivers? The game lists the supported modes that the driver reports to it via DirectX.
You are right Kryo, thanks.
I did change my NVIDIA Drivers lately. I downloaded the 185.85 version, but it made the screen pixilated. For some odd reason it didn’t work on my Asus M70vn-X1. So, I went back to the previous version I had; 179.49. This NVIDIA driver works fine, and ever since I lost the widescreen setting for both Demigod and Sins.
I added the custom resolution in NVIDIA control panel and they appear in Demigod and Sins. So basically this solves my issue. Thanks for the replies it helped!

Theres a chance it may be your Refresh Rate try making them in Nvidia control panel @ 1366x768@60 or 1440x900@60
60 tends to be standard 60-75 HZ or so for most avg screens
I wish they'd add 1280x720, 720P HD you'd think they'd have it but oh well i overrode it cause it can do 1080 for TV at 29/30 Hz but found i could make some new ones up control panel
like 1366x768@60 or 1650x900@50
Heres a great list of Resolutions if you wanna try making some new ones to get the most out a your games that don't have wide assortments of resolution support.

It would be quite hard to mess up a screen by toying with this i believe unless you try to go absurdly past anything it supports i suppose it could possibly blow the inverter chip in it but from what other friends have told me its damn hard or impossible almost
