Hi all, i recently bought DG but every time i go to play with people i get disconnected and end up playing against bots, i know this problem has more then likely been address before but if anyone can help me out it be greatly appreciated.

Patience is a virtue my friend, so is self help. In this "Demigod Techincal Support" the very first pinned article (http://forums.demigodthegame.com/345345) has all the info you need, whats screwing you is not lack of help, but lack of self motivation.

cheers, pity portforward has nothing to do with demigod i scaned the site and couldnt find demigod anywhere unless its under some other name i have no idea all i know is that its not under "D" should be between Delta Three PC to Phone and Destroyer Command but its not. If i am wrong and it is there any chance at a link because i just want to play
The portforwarding site is to teach you about port forwarding and it has a download for a utility to see if your ports are truly forwarded.

i had a read through Monk's guide but im not a very computer savy guy i just like playing games doesnt make much sense to me like i went through and opened the ports but it still says there closed *sigh* y is it so difficult just to play this game not a very enjoyable experience.
I am sorry you are having problems, I do tech support for a living so I have little patience when I have to deal with this stuff outside of my job, so if I sound like an asshole, sorry again.
If you have no clue what you are doing, my best suggestion is to tell us what kind of router you havd and maybe someone who has it can post some screenshots on what you are suppose to do.
kk nps and nah its ok you dont sound like an asshole + your the only one who's tried to help me so i wouldnt really mind if u acted like an ass, but anyways i have a Belkin mdl#F5D7231-4. Just hope someone else has a look at this post.
Here is a game (supreme commander) using your router

You see where it says "We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. Supreme Commander requires you to forward the 6112,9103,30350-30351 ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Virtual servers menu."
The ports for Demigod is 6073, 6100-6200 instead of "6112,9103,30350-30351"
Then try following those instructions on how to set it.

*sigh* it didnt work, i never thought when i got this game that id have so much touble just trying to play it, worst thing is i cant return it because i used cd key any other options? and now my vent has randomly stoped working getting stuck on sycnronizing wth this game has caused me nothing but trouble

Also does your ISP block ports? I know certain companies do.
Also if you really want a refund, I am pretty sure stardock offers one, I remember reading about it a while back.
well if i cant play online theres no real point in keep the game is there, but thats just a last resort im guna see if i can get one of my mates to see if he can figure it out
