I love L4D but haven't been playing lately because of the recent waves of idiots that just comes into a game and shoots everyone, spams and quit. Not to mention the rage quitters, yes, there are rage quitters in L4D.. sigh.. or, the most irritating, the players that thinks you don't need teamwork to survive and will just run off and do their own thing, then get caught by a hunter/smoker and expect the rest of the team to go rescue them.
So please, if anyone here plays L4D and doesn't do any of the previously stated, PLAY WITH ME!!

Was very fun indeed. Laughed my ass off at several different times while playing. We made some pretty good gold runs too. We should try some Expert campaigns at some point. I usually only do Advanced since I can only vouch for me and my brother's effectiveness but, if it is with people I know and can trust, I'd like to take a shot at Expert.
I'll be on for most of the holiday weekend. Will definitely get a few games going on Sunday.
For Mish and anyone else interested, I also have DoW2 and WC3 installed however I am mediocre at best in WC3 and a total noob in DoW2 so if you ever want to spank me, please feel free to send me a tell through steam.

Yeah probably because back when steam first started you would register with yoru email and not a user name.
Mighty, I was able to add you to my friends list by looking at EadTaes' friends list and adding you from there. You're on my list now but it doesn't look like Mighty Mite is your steam account name. Keep in mind that your steam account name is not the same as your profile name.
Actually L4D is fairly robust against idiot players as you can vote them off and restart without much of a penalty, the most frustrating experience is beginner players trying out survival or expert campaigns. IMHO opinion Valve should lock these levels for rewards as you progress....
Also in relation to Commando players, its better that the team co-operates so if someone is being a bossy bugger use chat to get the buy in from the rest of the team then go with the majority. Once you have your achievements its fun to go back and play the level differently and not hold the strongest points.
I would also advise you not to use exploits and map glitches on Survival mode to get a cheap gold, it will ruin the game experience for you.
So to anyone put off by MP lameness, I would actually suggest you take a look at L4D as it does more than most to basically make it a pointless and boring exercise for the jokers trying it on to the point that the joke is on them really.

Yeah, we had a player join us yesterday that wanted to do nothing but go with the glitches. It was amusing at first but it got old real quick. The only glitch that I actually enjoyed was the one in the Drain, where we made it into the safe room and fought from there. However, everyone assumed that the tank couldn't rip thru the door.. but I proved them wrong as the he did just that while I was standing directly in front of it.. *face palm*

Was fun and tougher than I thought. Need to learn a few more of those survivability tricks from you guys. I had no idea fire made the tank go faster in Expert. In all other difficulties, it slows him down. Live and learn, I guess. Hopefully you guys can be around again for a few rounds on Sunday.

Looking forward to playing with you guys again. Played a 2nd round of VS in a completely random group and it sucked. No coordination either as survival or infected. Much better getting a setup where everyone knows each other.
Btw, I'm looking to get a good mic for L4D. I already have a great pair of headphones so I don't want to get a mic/headset combo. Anyone got any recommendations for a good stand-alone mic?
I'll ask my bf for you, but judging from the mic we got... idk if I'd listen to him. lol cuz it SUCCCKSS.. lol
