I'm honestly at a loss for words here, a patch that made connecting into a lobby harder? I've NEVER had a problem with demigod prior to the patches this week, but all of a sudden BAM. Numerous connection problems out of no where and yes I haven't changed anything on my computer except for adding the patch. Seriously, I love playing Demigod, but what the hell kind of patch is this? Not even pantheon will put me into a simple TWO VERSUS TWO. wtf... all I ever get is Matchmaking system failed or NAT disconnect something something...
i just bought this game, and i feel ripped off, i could play online for one day, now this patch makes it practically impossible to connect to a game. Also informative things about the game like once you choose i side you cant change would be good to know. At this very moment i want my money back for this game, you dont buy a game like this for single player. At this point id rather dig up my warcraft 3 code and go play on there since you could atleast connect to play a game.
Same deal with me...game has been great since release for me. Then all of a sudden I can't even connect to my friend down the street which I've been playing regular matches with constantly. Please give some sort of response or any update as to what is going on. It's almost more frustrating seeing no response from Frogboy/Stardock about these issues that have come up with this patch. If I'm mistaken please point me in the right direction.
Download tonight's update and let us know if that solves it. If not, tell us a little bit more about your setup.
No change after the patch, exactly the same problems. I'm not sure how to describe my setup since I use a university's wireless network.
The problem has nothing to do with your setup.
A lot of people in the world cant play multiplayer since 14th/15th May updates.
Dont spend hours on fumbling around with your pc, router or whatever...Its wasted time.
Better wait until you hear news from an well working update in the future.
Just bumping this post. Haven't seen any new info on the may 14th patch issues that some of us are having.
I just downloaded the new patch and now instead of getting an error message about NAT or matchmaking system failing, I get an error message with no words. Yes, that's right no words at all. Just an OK button. Cool.....

I feel you OP! Myself and 4 buddies had no problem connecting and playing custom games until the May 14 update. Now not one of us can connect to the others. On the bright side though - atleast the people who couldn't connect before the patch now can - so I guess the majority of people who could connect prior to the patch will have to wait and see what happens. Unfortunately the Demigod disk is creeping closer and closer to becoming a coaster for the computer desk.
