When will Object Desktop be compatible with Windows 7. I am using ObjectDock + with it now and it works fine as does Impulse but WindowBlinds and IconPackager do not. Just wondering??
Windows 7 is still at RC stage... aka not actually ready for public consumption - yet.
Internal development of Stardock programs cannot be finalized until the OS for which they are intended is itself finalized.
If an existing released program happens to also work [now] with Win 7 that's a bonus.... but you'll have to wait for any/all that don't as yet.....
I have just bought windowblinds but it doesnt work on Win 7 x64 bit, will I be able to get the new software when it comes out without charge.
just for you guys info
running objectrdock here on win7 64bit without any problems
We will be releasing the BETA of both products (WindowBlinds 7 and IconPackager 5) this week and the next (respectively) for Object Desktop customers!
Recent purchases of WindowBlinds 6.x will be upgraded to WindowBlinds 7.x at no charge. The number of months we go back for that has not been determined at this time, however at the very least we will have an upgrade path for those who purchase WindowBlinds 6.x to 7.x that will not be the full cost of WindowBlinds 7.x.
As always current Object Desktop subscriptions will be upgraded for free.
That's good news.
Excellent news! Thank you!
I have not seen the beta for Icon packager appear in impluse yet, the Beta for windows blinds appears but not icon packager.
