I have couple of things to say but please do not take any of this the wrong way. Thank You. I want more new ideas and more new sparks of life posted here. Just think about it from a underdog shoes.
First thing I have notice that there is alot of game score being posted and alot of them are around million points from only two empires Kzinti and ToE. There are no other active empires but my empire (Edit: and Gerontocrats). I have to say I am sad because I am 9th rank and I did not earn it. The Geckodon Alliance is gone! Seth deleted his empire and left Galciv2 so he says. I ask him why? but he never answered my question. Do you know why? Did he fully join the ToE? Did he give up or get bored because he could not keep up with the scores? At any rate I will never quite playing! I am here to stay even if I become just a third place empire.
Second thing I have notice is that PUB is 6th rank but it is not an empire. What is up with that? It seems to me why would Kzinti and ToE make place where share ideas but it is a good idea on their part? Do some people have characters in both Kzinti and ToE? Maybe I am wrong but I think Kzinti and ToE have almost the same write up for Million Point Games and ZYW Games because of this. I know that every body has been hard working on Million Point Games then the PUB was made and now it is boom of million point scores being submitted because it has been perfected. Have you notice any of this? I am sure you have. You check the scores and see how I am doing and every body else like a scout or recon. You saw my character Draco work so hard in submitting alot of games to only get bumped by a person submitted one game. Where does this all go? I saw a new empire die before it even got started.
Here is something I am going to try to keep up with you all and it will likely fail because know one cares or get pick apart by everybody for even asking such a underdog question? I am even willing to earn it too and I would even take old detailed write ups too. I am after game scores around 500,000 points. I also promise not to tell anyone, who gave it to me but I will give you full credit for it. This is top sercet.
May I have some type of write up for both Million Point and ZYW games, please?

TA Score record = Owned by TOE
Amount of Kzin that have scored 1M = 1 (potential for at least one other AFAIK)
Amount of Tyrannts that have scored 1M = 5 (potential for at least 3 other players)
So...how do they score better?
Nelio is right, Zyx. Also you do realize that the only reason the Kzinti are #1 is because they have over 400 characters, and also 95% of them don't do anything and probably only joined to get a 1st place medal. Also you do realise that alot of the trolls on GC2 have characters in the Kzinti Empire which makes the Kzinti Empire is the empire of trolls.

As for friends...well i dunno about that, let's just say that we annoy each less these days!
We keep trying to herd them to our massive bank of gaming computers, but they do not seem to want to cooperate with our Border Collies. At least that is what our motivational consultant Helga calls these. I don't know too much about dogs, personally.
The large majority of Kzinti members joined before we were #1, or even in the top three, so to say everyone has joined for a medal is factually incorrect. I'm sure some have done so, but they are as welcome as everyone else. We are welcoming and encouraging to anybody who loves to play the game, and have always stood ready to assist everyone in enjoying it however they like, whether that be going for megascores or mini-scores....or even no-scores! We also congratulate our fiercest rivals in the ToE at each accomplishment, whether it be for million point games, or as they were climbing the MV empire ranks. Honor is given where honor is due!
As for the Kzinti being an empire of trolls that is such a nutty and strange comment that it's not worth any real response.

How is it that adding - they also *score* better contradicts KP's moto?
Between First & Second place Empires that have different amounts of "regular" scorers which add points to their respective places, i only see an average per capita that can determine who REALLY leads.
So...
KE;39814884/6995=5692 points per game
TOE;26752850/1952=13705 per game.
AS;2096333/127=16506 per game.
etc.
Yep, opponents SCORE better. And if any keep tab of 1mil+ games only... all it takes is 40 shots to beat the felines.

@ Snark, I don't think that is a collie like Lassie. I think it is more like a Border Dobbie like a Doberman Pincher. Any way, let me tell about dogs. First thing, they taste better than cats and rats (no offense) because when you BBQ a dog it smells like chicken cooking espeically to those who haven't eaten in three days on the battle field. Second dogs bite cats and rats (no offense) but dogs don't bite the hands that feeds its enemies after a bloody war. Third thing dogs like to smell each other and troll butts for shitty language, bombs and drugs at check points.
@KP, Good one about Honor and now speaking of medals, Where is my Custom Race Medal? We gave you over 100 pigs for that feast two months ago and that T'wek female dancer too. Anyway have seen any of our merchants, you know the ones sent over to you last week not the first ones (second ones are still missing too) but third ones that had catnip for party favorites and rabbit feet for lucky charms.

Zyx...once again i have NFI what you are talking about. I am puzzled once again though at your interest in such a topic. I know i don't comment or enter into topics about fly fishing cause i do not and never have attempted the sport.
My final thoughts on this whole debate boils down to this, since if stay too long, the nice hat will come off and i just cant be bothered with that.
There are two camps.....the normals and the plastic faces.
The normals care not that they are not #1, or the biggest scorers or have the most of this and the best of that. They are proud when they do achieve these things but tend to stay quiet unless provoked.
The plastic faces care so much for the glory of every possible achievement they will do just about anything to get it, and then proceed to brag about their achievement but are quick to forget the how or the why. And they are not worried about using subterfuge either. (though it failed...and yes, i do know all about it.)
There have been, and are still members of both camps spread across many empires and in fact the GC2 boards as a whole.

We have some very intelligent, and very likeable people on these forums. Some of us are Tyrants, some of us are Kzinti, and some of us are Gerontocrats. The Metaverse, and these forums, wouldn't be as fun as they are without such wonderful people representing all the various empires. The Metaverse also wouldn't be nearly as much fun if there weren't competing empires. You simply can't have fun, engaging heroic struggles and witty banter without an opponent to struggle with and to exchange banter with. For this I salute my worthy Kzinti opponents. It's pleasant to have you guys around and the MV would be a stale, joyless experience without such worthy opponents.
Unfortunately there are some who haunt these forums who occasionally distract, annoy, or otherwise rile us good folks. Let's just do our best to ignore it when they try to hijack our threads, sow discord, and detract from the overall enjoyment of the experience here. We can all compete on the battlefield, have a brew at the Pub afterwards, and good-naturedly taunt and banter to enhance the fun. We've got a good thing going here even if there are occasional weeds in our garden of paradise.

I was talking about metaverse rankings based on average results that puts KP Empire ranking below the Twilight Pub, for example. But, IF you have no _(no invisible word here, don't look)_ idea what this mean, i can only recommend a mathematics book revision. For some underdogging quest of a rational definitions.
