A question for good players:
How do you target when the fights get large and the screen is crowded with a writhing pack of DGs and creeps? I have a hard time actually landing skills on the correct target, or sometimes even being able to see who all is in there.
Demigod uses a model where you select a skill, and then click on a target to designate where it goes. I sure wish it used the other method, where you designate a target that is kept until you switch it, and then select a skill to use on that target. But since they don't, how about some tips for us old five thumbs type people...
It can be tough... I tend to rotate the map to help get a better view (or see around a Rook). I also hover over a target with my mouse and what is under it, I believe glows in a red outline... so sometimes is about knowing the silhouettes of the demigods.
press CTRL to target only demigods
Holding Ctrl also means you can ONLY select DGs for your powers. Means you might hit the wrong DG sure but it won't be wasted on a creep at least. Beyond that, some rotating of the screen etc but I find that most of the time it's not a problem.

Remember that your enemy also has to target in that same mass swarm so it kind of comes down to using Ctrl clicks, space bar and nimble mouse usage

Rotates the camera. Hold spacebar down and press any of the wasd keys.
Holding down space allows for mouse camera rotation. Or at least it used to in the beta, I haven't tried in release yet.
Or move your mouse.
Holding space rotates the camera in the final release too
I didn't know about the Ctrl bit, but I usually don't have a problem. The demigods are generally far larger than the minions, so selecting them quickly usually isn't a problem, even with a lot of foes on the screen.

Or if you are like me with camera movement using wasd, Q and E will rotate the camera. I did not know about the ctrl button though; thanks for the advice on that one!
