I've got an maybe interesting idea for a new game mode.
The concept is simple: You start a new game and one demidgod is selected as demigod murderer by chance. The other players wouldn't know about this, for them the demigod appears as normal demigod. But in an unseen moment the player who's selected as murderer can change into some kind of death reaper and gets invisible for the other players and now has to kill all other demigods (which then are ported back). The other players have to search for the missing demigod and at the end of the round, they have to decide who the murderer is. This happens via taking votes. If the real murderer is revealed, the other demigods have to hunt him and the demigod murderer has to survive for some time. If the other players gave a wrong vote, the demigod murderer won the game. Because the maps are very small there could be a demigod replacement for the murderer from the AI, so that you can't see the murderer immediately. The demigod murderer can turn into normal mode back (as demigod), but he has to be careful, because when he gots visible in front of another demigod the player would know that he is the murderer or when there would be two of the same demigods this would unmask the murderer. The demigod murderer has to kill the demigods of both teams and the teams could work together to find the murderer or against each other, so in the end there would be two votings and the right decision wins or they loose both and the murderer wins.
Isn't that a StarCraft map?Well, this is Demigod, not StarCraft. Sorry, but that idea doesn't fit the framework of Demigod at all.
This.
dude, demigod is an Action/RTS...
Stracraft is a national sport in Korea [not even kidding]
modes used to enhance gameplay of such a game is at the very least noteworthy. Try to be a tad less dimissive...

StarCraft is a national sport in Korea. "Werewolf" isn't. What part of Mafia-derivitive games screams "Action/RTS" to you? Sorry if that sounds dismissive, but that's how it is.
Thus this game need a map editor.
Ugh, WC3, and soon SC2 already do that, and better than Demigod ever could. That's not what Demigod is even meant to be about. Games should not try to over-extend themselves like that.
Well, never played StarCraft yet and it was only an idea I thought about...
I agree.
