Hey guys,
I think we should all take a second to, instead of complain about small bugs and little glitches, or some multiplayer issues that we know Stardock will fix, lets take a second to look at how involved Stardock as a company became at the first sign of the multiplayer catastrophe. I personally can not say it enough how impressed I am with the way this company is run. I mean to be honest, Frogboy and his crew where online for about 16 hours yesterday if not more, working on fixes for the multiplayer issues, AND keeping us informed as to the status of it all.
What other company can you name, that on their games release day, where online talking to its users and letting them know the issues and the way they were working on them? I can't think of any. Blizzard just fixes their games these days and posts some sort of generic information log 3 or 4 days after the problem, and Blizzard is a excellent company... EA Games is horrific when it comes to insta-customer relations. And the big one at the moment is EPIC Games, whom released a game (with War 2 at the end) that is borderline a bug/glitch fest with a HIGHLY unenjoyable mutiplayer, that they STILL have not addressed the issues of the fans... Stardock listens to its fans with an anxious ear, and I think that this is so important that I had to post this because it shouldnt go unnoticed.
I know most of the "regular" or "frequents" in our IRC Chat already know how awesome this company is. But I see a lot of new users jumping on, with the typical ranting about how the games broken and this is unreal, blah blah blah. Thats what this post is for, I hope they all read it and realize Stardock is doing the RIGHT thing, while fixing their game. So before the next person logs in and starts ranting about problems, instead, inform someone of the problem either by forum post or IRC chat, and move on, because if this release day is any indication as to the dedication and determination of Stardock as a whole, I really think we have nothing to worry about, and the game will flourish!
Keep up the good work guys, I know I have recommended this game to a lot of my friends, or just about anyone looking for a new PC Game on other forums, not only because its an awesome game, but because the service rendered by this company is something that is VERY hard to find these days.

Thanks!
I agree. I've never bought a game where there's so many company people on helping.
Frogboy stayed up 2 day straight with people on IRC helping people. That floored me!
I'm one of those regulars that know and have echoed similar sentiments in the past, but nonetheless - fully agree with the OP.
Keep up the good work guys and girls! Most of us appreciate it.
Being compared to Blizzard, Epic, and EA... wow. We're only missing Bethesda and Bioware then we'll be playing with the big boys.
Thanks for the kind words

I'd like to second the post. Honestly that is one of the big selling features for me on the game, I like knowing that the game designers care and listen to the players rather than just kinda sit on their butts and wait until there is a massive problem.
Thanks
Awesome post!
I am a big fan of Stardock and I agree with most of what you wrote but If I had not been in the beta I would have given up on Demigod already. I played 8 Panthnon games so far and only 1 counted due to connection issues. As it stands I can not recommend this game to anyone. I trust that Stardock and GPG will get everything fixed but the game is almost unplayable right now.

Instead of more praise: I'm buying this. I meant to get it yesterday, but I was held back by that Chelsea-Liverpool thing
Thank you for your kind words.

Please not Bethesda... they used to create awesome and buggy games, now all they release are buggy games only.
In fact you should stay as you are Blizzard is a great company but they are too big now, and are less receptive to the community.
You should never want to be compared to EA, but otherwise you're on the money.
ur better than EA
all they do is buy everyone out...
I'm just not worthy. Thanks for not making this another Spore/EA experience.
[p.s. fight for the light, you fools!]

Still i pay for this game...... i think any release with this amount of fundamental errors like communication is like "lets get some $$$ then fix the game for the suckers"
Ill admit I havent had any chance to try out multiplayer, but the only problem I had, the main screen not loading, was due to my computer's firewall, so i havent encountered anything based on their end yet. So far I really enjoy the game and im glad to hear they are comitted to fixing the multiplayer experience. Even if I can never play online, I still consider this a good buy on principal of no DMR.
I concur with the OP's statement.
