well i feel bad now but i downloaded the game from the net. an ill say it is fucking awesome. love it. an when my store gets the game in stock im gonna purchase it. im having so much fun playing this. they deserve my purchase because its 100% worth it.
Not so fast. I suggest you play the Pirated game a bit longer, because the internet connection isn't the best at this moment. I suggest you wait a bit more before buying it.
For myself, I think the game is worth 30$ right now, but no 40$.

And the people suggesting waiting... The the connection would be fine if people knew how to set up their routers or work a connection. It's the one person who can can cause a game hang up on search, granted they shoulda had a time out on the connection part, but still.
If he's planning on buying the game and wants to keep up to date with patches etc... There no difference if he buys it now, or waits 3 weeks.
Sorry but if you buy the game and are not satified with the play or dev you can refund the game by sending it to stardock. Now that is cool! I read it in the owner's manual. First corporation that is about the followers not the CEOs! This game is well worth $40 when online is free unlike Wow or AoC or LoTRO! BOOOSH!!!
Stardock are busting their balls to fix the problem with the networking code which they were not able to see until the product went worldwide.
That appears to be the only problem with game as pointed out above... so why the hell encourage people not to buy this awesome game? Is learning how to play vs the AI instead of a human that much of a deal killer?
Stardock will address the networking issue whether people buy it or not - but how well this game does finacially will determine how many expansions, how many resources and cash gets spent on making it better and anybody who reads this thread and ends up never buying Demigod will have an impact.
Stardock have a fantastic reputation for past sale support. Show a bit of faith will you?
I have to agree... First when I saw the price was 40 not the usual 49, 59, etc... I was shocked.
Also, especially in this age when everyone is looking to charge for online stuff... The fact that this is free to play online, with ACTUAL DLC coming, that again is FREE.
Unlike for example... DoW2 which supposedly was gonna have free DLC, nope, next expansion, and how awful is their matchmaking crap. Or Blizz who have usually in the past had free b.net, are considering to charge for D3 to play multiplayer.
I mean game is cheaper then most games out... Free to play... They have great support... And when you actually play it, barring the connection issue currently, I think it's a real gem.
