Galciv2Guide.com
If you have a love for all things GCII then this site is a must for you. We have a growing collection of mods, AAR's (After Action Reports), game details and newly designed chat forums for you to talk about the contents of the site or anything else you wish to.
All user mods can be updated by members without having to have them cleared by anyone other than yourself and there is no size limit for the mods section so those of you who create huge mods are more than welcome to have them hosted for free too.
Currently the site is looked after by myself with the forums under the guidance of Cypher but we are looking for new members who wish to contribute towards the site in any way they can. So if you know something that makes the game easier to play or have a explanation for the way something works amongst other things please get in touch with us in the sites forums.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Drengin

Please remember the site does have a mods section that works and needs no moderator clearance before others can download and use your mods. Please bear us in mind if you are creating mods and want others to be able to use them too!

December 2228 now available in the Christmas Times AAR.
To be honest, Galciv 2 Guide is useless. I'm sorry to say but that's the truth, you see, the Galciv 2 community is mostly inactive which means rareley anyone is going to join the site and post in it excet two people, you and Cypher IIRC. Sorry to burst your bubble.
what we need is a new patch ^^
@DSep: It would be nice, wouldn't it?
@Seth: The site is still new, yet it has 18 members and a nice number of posts/topics. Don't knock it 'till ya try it.
Seth, you mean it?
Do you really know who Drengin is and what he has done for this community over the many years before you joined in (only to threaten me to go at I-Mod and stay there in my case, once in the past!)?
Yep, i do have a membership there too.
One is never too careful with the instability comin' out of Germany lately.
(PS; Surprise... revolutionary Thumbnails for two gentlemen or more people now exclusively available at GC2Guide.com)
Soooooo, burst THAT bubble if you dare.
Hmm let's see hear, he was once in charge of the Galactic Diplomats and the Galactic Core but those do match the countless ammount unfinished projects he's made.
Haer? or Here?
Or there, or somewhere. Or anywhere, once or twice, for a long time.
Cypher, Theiflin, Zyxpsilon... watching in awe a nice little site as an alternative to the local 3.5 millions users.
Peace & quiet, no insults, no trolls, no flame Wars.
I'll take it, even IF unfinished.
Zyxpsilon i have sent you an email from the guide.
Next update soon for those who are interested!
Drengin, great site and a nice read on your AAR. I guess you always will get a critic or two regardless of what you do.
Seems strange to me as if i dont like something i tend to not bother going there rather than sitting in that area moaning about the place! Guess that must just be me..
Looking forward to it
Oh who is this? Oh it's Drengin's second account, Watcher.
Split personalities possibly Handy when you have to deal with morons who like to hijack threads and moan about sites that have nothing to do with them. Do us all a favor Seth and go find someone else to annoy
I was only stating that the site was pointless.
To you maybe, but some may take offence to your attitiude.
Anyhow enough distractions i think. Next AAR update should be ready tomorrow night GMT
I'm honored to help by any means i please, and many thanks for the guiding status!
We're at the dawn of an upcoming GC3 rush and right in the thick of an ongoing fest of true GC2 regular players who support, mod and can share their personal experience with friends. Heck, i still play UFO:Defense in a dosbox.
Impulse may get their millionth customer soon, but i doubt the Drengin driven *second* Galaxy is going anywhere else but into specific variety, rare & precious to anyone willing enough.
So there.
Best of Luck - and Thumbnails away, boys & gals!
Who would that be? Watcher, A.K.A yourself? Honestly why don't you just go and finish TA For Dummies.
I'm a new player and I like the Christmas Times AAR. Every source to learn something about the game is a help for me. Keep up the good work.
That was really offensive. I'm actually quite shocked how one could have an attitude like that! It's HIS business if he want to finish TA for dummies, not YOURS! If he decided it wasn't worth his time, then he can stop and start something else.
