yes your constant redownloading of the WHOLE mod EVERYDAY was very annoying and ate up my bandwith giving me lagg and other problems

i'll reinstate you on monday, i have too much modding to catch up on. For the other beta testers, you might want to stay away from federation fights, they will own you very badly becuase i am in the process of nerfing the mod balance, its ok to run klingon vs klingon for now.

Hey DarkShimmer, are you seeing me on Live Sync, because I can't tell (never worked with windows live sync before).
I know mostly likly u have heard it a lots of time befro and i am sorry to ask but when will the next patch be fro this mod
and one last thing would anyone like to play this mod online when the patch comes out ?
Sync can be a pain in the ass for those who dont know it, but it is very useful
As for when the is next release?... I really dont know. There is much work to do, and i need to catch up on alot from the modeling aspect. I need to ether convert, or mesh from scratch structures for all of the factions. I am not sure how much i can do due to my RL job and all of my traveling.
Shimmer is re-doing the balancing that the new dynamic movement system messed up. The new movement system is awsome! but right now frigates instapop even faster than the original 0.03 release. Its basically whichever frigate shoots 1st wins, and most frigs go down in 1 volley. Shimmer knows about this, and is working on fixing it. He has alot on his plate so cut him some slack, and trust his judgement. He hasnt let us down yet.
The UI needs work again. Icons dont show up until you zoom way out. most of the ships dissappear long before an icon shows for them. We will work on fixing the zooms.
Portaits and other stuff are missing as well. I assume it is because we had to redo the mod yet again from scratch to get it to work in entrenchment 1.02.
When we know when everything is ready to go then you will know.

You are testing the mod for us to give us a 3rd party point of view. It is mainly for the balancing of the mod.
We only want to know about legit bugs right now. Not nit picky fanboy is it canon, or not arguments. Trust me this mod is far more canon than ST:Online will ever be.
Legit bugs are ships doing stupid things like flying backwards, or congregating toward the nearest roid during a firefight. Missing textures, Mesh errors, Weapons acting wierd like firing backwards. Weapon effects errors, or balancing issues like the instapop issue, or if a frigate/cruiser/elite is way too OP over its equivilent counterpart. Focus on the mechanics before the eye candy. The eye candy will come later.

hey darkshimmer i have been playing the beta for a vile as the borg, its realy great the work you guys have been doing, but i have notists some bugs like the texture on the borg tactical cube when you soom out it looks realy weird, also if u go trhu a worm hole with a borg cap cube it goes back and forth betwin the to so its hard to get to where youre going. thats all for now.

There has been a screw up on the scales for the borg cubes (tac, scout, and standard) The tactical, and scout cubes should be around 1500 meters. The standard assimilator cube is 3000+ (depending if BOBW, 1st contact, or voyager style). Ex Astris Scientia has all the cubes scaled at 3k+ meters, but when you look at screen caps the tactical cube is clearly smaller than 3k. That could be your issue with the ships re-entering wormholes inadvertently.
Show a screen of the texture weirdness. and what video card are you using. theres been some known issues with ati chipsets with sins.
I will rescale the tac, and scout cubes later.
i know about the borg issues and they will be fixed its just atm i am working on the feds / klingons as they are the main priority < please DONT post any more bugs about the Borg i do know of them all >
the borg capital ships are going to be rebuilt (when i get time ^^)

ok no borg bugs then:) but the first cap you make is free so i rely on frigets and crosers till i got enuff flet suply, that cube you made is insane nothing the ai has cod beat it yet, but its only one so what you can do on larger maps are limited. may be you shoud make the caps cost some thing from the begining? also i thing you shoud make the borg sveare more powerfool and the cruser cube less, in my opinion the round one has more apill, like you shood not have a cube till you get the bigg one and it finaly pays off, but thas just me.

I know you guys had said it before, but oops I forgot that the newest beta for SoA2 was for the entrenchment addon. So I'm downloading it now and I should have it ready for you by tommorrow (hopefully when my version of impulse gets fixed).

I could add many more "why dont you do this? and why dont you add/change that?" quotes but there is no need. Just look at back posts. This on top of your relentless downloading. Makes me wonder who you are spreading this mod out to (without backing it up).
That kind of feedback you posted above is exactly what i specifically said that we DO NOT need. You obviously didnt read, or you did, but just dont give a damn about what i said before. Mooster... Your out of the beta.

and the reason why just download cause I keep messing around with the mod, changing and trying out different things with it and all of my backup mediums, are full.
P.S. Is the forum's server acting funny today, I tried loading the mod page, it is slow and it wouldn't show all of the post, I tried with IE, also, and I get the same result
You do have HD space don't you? It's not like a zipped copy of the thing is several gigs or something.
