fyi, those of you with mini-dumps, not everyone gets them.  ive had sins for about a year now and have never had a mini-dump.  my computer isnt even a hard core gaming box, but it does ok.  the worst trouble i ever had was with the video drivers which wasnt even related to IC or SD.  so keep in mind during your mini-dump rants that you are in the minority.  IC has worked hard to provide solutions and improvements, but they cant know exactly what is on your computer that is causing the crash.

I think you answered the question with your statement your running the game bare bones. Mini-dump seems to occur with faster processors and high end graphics running at full tilt. I am sure I can tune down to 16 bit dos and slow my cpu and avoid mini dump, but why would I want to do that. Would I buy a Porsche to drive 10 mph, well maybe some of us would. The point is I refuse to reduce all my settings because the system develops mem leaks or has some other problems executing on higher end machines. Also it appears to affect large custome mods. So I am left at where I started. I still Love this game and can't wait till the issue is resolved, but I am not willing to start a game just to have it dump me at the heat of the moment in battle with no chance of restoring or picking up my saved game. BTW why does the update have to erase all the saved games? That tells me there is something wrong in the coding if they have to start fresh everytime they update. Anyway, I will wait.

So I tried a 4 player entrenchment game and scaled it down a bit. Well don't you know, mini-hump...I mean dump. So frustrating to be in the middle of a good game waste 3 hours of my time and lose everything, because in the end I will have to erase or lose it all if they patch or tell me once again to uninstall and reinstall. I have lost my patience with this could have been fantastic game. So long Iron-clad. Back to GC:TOA
