The new patch causes a minidump everytime I try to load the game. Any solutions would be helpful!

yes same thing is happening to me cannot load with new patch
Same But I get a mini-dump when I go too new game and click on the list of maps too play.
Do you have any custom maps?
I have none.It worked fine before i updated it.Its kind of lame that I have too uninstall and reload it in order too play.
Yep and now that I've got Entrentchment its the same, nothing modded. I've tried uninstalling and reloading and get the same results.
ok guys I thought as much. You need to manually clear it out of your registry... A pain I know but it works. When your skrewing with this if you don't follow directions to the t its your fault it you comp ends up with problems not me...

unistall game and all complonents then go to your registry via : Start-> run, and type regedit
look for:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Drengin.net\sinsHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Drengin.net\sinsentrench
or For Vista 64 bit;HKLM>SOFTWARE>Wow6432Node>Stardock>Drengin.net>sinsHKLM>SOFTWARE>Wow6432Node>Stardock>Drengin.net>sinsentrench
and delete both and reboot your PC and go back to Impulse and try installing the base game.
OH and thanks to "highlander" froma nother forum make sure to have 1.13 version and test it out before then installing entrenchment stuffs. Apparently there are a few who had problems when not updating befroe installing entrenchment!
This aught to do the trick! Worked for me and I had the same problem with BF 2142 and this got it up and going as well... oh EA and constant bugs of install reinstall and remove to play...

It worked for me .It did not take me too long.I also heard the new update v1.15 is out and it will fix some issues some people are having.
it really doesn't take too long its just a pain to figure out....
I too had issues installing the new version.
Seems like a few reg keys need to be cleaned out between the uninstallation and reinstallation.
There is a utility tool app that I have been using for years now called "tuneup utilities"
I ran the 1 click maintenance after uninstalling sins.
installed sins & entrenchment again.. Worked like a charm.
Proggy really helps maintain windows xp's registry.

I had same this morning, after updating and installing entrenchment..
Fact is, all it took for it to work, was to close impulse, for me, like if after updating, it was locking some files.
