So a coworker turned me on to this upcoming game called Plain Sight. Apparently you're a robot, and you kill other robots for points. To cache your points, you gotta kill yourself. Get killed by someone else and you lose your uncached points. Rinse and repeat. Highest score wins.
Anyway, this sounds like a highly addictive and fun-as-hell game. They even have a PC version in Beta right now.
Wouldn't it be nice/freaking-awesome if this game were distributed on Impulse so you could download it anytime, anywhere, and get free updates in a snap?
If only we had some way lots of people (ie. you guys) could tell the developers on their forums that such a game should be up on Impulse.
Hint, hint.
aye aye! I'll see what I can do to encourage Impluse use.
Titles that don't rely upon using ideas of previously successful games are what catch my eye the most. Plain Sight definitely looks to be a unique game and I'd agree on the point of "highly addictive and fun-as-hell."
It would not only be interesting to see this on Impulse, but imagine the possibilities if this were integrated into Impulse's community tab!
For only $10, this definitely looks like a game I'd happily lose hours over exploding my friends
