Thank you for all the posts of bug feedback and suggestions regarding Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment. Ironclad has been hard at work reading through the posts and working on the next update. Even though you won't see us post very often, we are paying attention, so please be patient with us.
Currently we're planning on an Entrenchment beta update next week - as always we'll be aiming for Wednesday or Thursday. The team needs more time to rework how the mines function in the game so that we get a more balanced system in place.
I'll edit this post with more info as I get it in.

Eny admins are reading this? Is there eny site with new change list (or with part from it)? Could the update be today? If so then at what clock?

Thanks for the update on Entrenchment status.
Not to start a new can of worms here, but have IronClad and Stardock been simultaneously working on the second expansion?...

good question and don't know if anyone rightly knows, but I would venture that as they were hitting the "dog days" of fixing the balance issues of Entrenchment, they were doing no other coding. But now that those frantic days of coding nightmares are over for another week or two (till they get the next batch of complaints and opinions of what should be done), they are probably filling their down time with thoughts and visions of micro-2 running through their heads. And who knows, maybe a little coding on that as well.
Plus, I seem to recall somewhere that their timetable is to release both the micro-2 and micro-3 before the end of this year.

I`ve been thinking that perhaps both GPG and Ironclad have been pounding the Stardock/Impulse gaming system into shape too.
We (Ironclad) have already begun work on the second micro-expansion. We are also hard at work on a new project.

Btw, will we be getting new music for the expansions? I haven`t seen this subject mentioned anywhere before - more variations on the current themes would be great, to vary the accompaniment as we eventually play with the new mechanics & assets.
Ditto I imagine with voice work, though I would be more keen on music.
I don't know about the music, but the voice work is still a WIP. The changelog for beta2 says a bit of it should go in, but not all. I'd love new music though.. Psugar would just have to slave away some more
Very nice. Had me rolling over here. The new project is fine and nice...the new micro is fine and nice...hell, even micro-1 is fine and nice. I'm just glad you guys are still in business and that the whole thought and aspect of releasing games with no DRM has not back-fired (not that I thought it would). Cause now we "loyal" gamers can really enjoy some great game playing time with some great games.
Keep up all of the great hard work that you guys are putting in. We love everything that you do...(well most everything... )

Seriously though, can you give a rough estimate how soon after the release of Entrenchment will the beta of the next mini-expansion begin? Hours, days, weeks?
I'd guess at least a couple months
Well it would be nice to have time to play Sins in a finished state, not just rush from one beta to the other..

DUnno if this is the right place, but i wanted to give some more feedback after the latest beta patch. Overall, things have improved massively. Mines are no longer scattered accross every gravity well, that in itself is a huge relief.Keep the autocast off... Though i do note now that the advent and vasari ai uses extremely sparse use of mines.
The mine clearing abilities have also improved, and you were right about the extra banks on a defender or flak frigate being useful, though there is still a tendency for the ai to chase a scout frigate or two through an enemy minefield.
The changes to the starbase have worked to my knowledge, and they now work as well as id first hoped. The fact that vasari starbases have the obvious advantage with movement doesnt bother me, like pre patch.
The bank upgrades have made for much quicker battles, which is also nice.
The only thing i can say i was confused at was the strangeness of some of the ai. In a couple of game ive played the ai has just stopped attacking and gone into a hibernation of sorts, puttting all of its resources into ship production. However even when they have a large fleet (I counted 350 ships), which outnumbers all of the other opponents, it just sits in its planet and doesnt move.
Overall though, a great improvement, and is really ready for release! congrats!

Love the upgrade, still getting the hang of the starbases though.
The game crashes are very frustrating, I hope they are resolved soon.
I noticed some other issues possibly already addressed. Multi player mode when sharing planet vision you can't see allies in the navigation pane, only by sooming in on the planet.
When deploying starbases, the credits are not deducted until the starbase is actually about to be built, however between assigning a location for the starbase and it commencing the build you can spend the money or resources and the starbase will not build.

I've finally got my Entrenchment working but stand-alone still will not start, instant crash. While playing Entrenchment under the lastest update I get an instant crash (bug) when I'm selecting an assign number group. I hit "1" to Select that fleet and instant crash, restart.
