Happy New Year my friends! I hope this blog finds you and yours in health, good spirits and looking towards a new tomorrow! Even when it doesn't seem to be, or will ever be, take my word for it, it will be!
My brother and nephew are back home safely, since yesterday. My home is empty again, of visitors that is. My oldest was over for two nights, which was wonderful having her home sleeping again.
I've had quite a busy season and am looking forward to blogging more often. Dang it, everytime I say that, stuff happens but let's hope that I can!
It's been a wonderful and very eventful 2008 for me and I have loads of pictures to share, and a few articles too!
And yep, back on the wagon again. I only gained five pounds! hurrah! I feel like a blob though!lol! And today I had my breastes (yes, I said breastes, squished so hard I'm still smarting from the experience! Yuck!) Was that TMI? No way, read it or leave it! (it was mammogram time)
Anyway, I'll be about and reading again, so get to writing peoples!

I am starting a new 12 week weight loss challenge on Tuesday. I did Biggest Loser at my work over the holidays. I'm not going to win but I'm down from what I started (three pounds) I consider that an accomplishment considering that Thanksgiving, Christmas and New years were in there.
The perky years or the less perky ones? Whoops, did I just say that? Har har....I
Hey three pounds is an accomplishment! Congrats! Goodlunck and do share your progress! I've quit Weight Watchers but not my goals for weight loss. I can just use that moeny elsewhere. I'll be sharing my progress again! I begin tomorrow!

Nice to see you writing, Serenity. It would be nice if a few of us became more regular like we used to be. I've been writing lots but posting little here. Most of my recent writing I am hoping to have published, so I'm kind of saving it. But I would like to increase my blog habits, so you never know.
I know we've already said this to each other, but here it is again: Happy New Year to you and yours. I hope 2009 is everything you want it to be and more.
