Let me first say to the people coming over from the Tyranny of Evil forums, welcome. Unlike some admins and members from your home forums, we actually allow others to voice their opinions and post, rather than delete their accounts and ban their e-mails (a). I would like to say that I'm honored that you chose to include my thread in your poll; it's so much publicity!

Now, I would like to address your copious 'flames', to borrow your words. To start, I would like to first ask if I should speak in a more profanity prevalent way, in order to keep your interest. Should I as well use improper grammer and simple spelling errors in order to make it more understandable? Should I include emoticons used to accentuate a point? I would prefer not to, but if you reply that it would be beneficial, I can easily rewrite this post. Finally, back to the original point.

How is it that a thread purposely created in the Off-Topic forums could be considered immature (b )? I will admit that most everyone here will concede that it is in fact pontless, but the same could be said of your thread, which exists to only attack other threads. Did you win anything from this, aside from flexing your cyber-might, and possibly boosting your ego by downing other people whom you don't know, nor will ever know? Is it really worth it to look around on these forums just for a thread or two that you can insult and slander? If you believe any of these threads to be foolish and immaterial, then do the decent thing; don't read them. As for being immature, I am waiting anxiously for any reasons that this thread is are. Certainly, it is pountless. Certainly, it is random. But at no point did this thread actually hurt or insult anyone. At no point did it make slanderous comments toward anyone, nor did it commit any sort of malicious action. It has not in any way been crude or insulting toward any races or religions, and it has not in any way segregated against anyone, or anything. The same could not be said of your nonsensical and appallingly insulting posts. I would also like to point out how actually mature Samurye and DarthCaedusMorgan were in starting this thread. It originates back in another thread, where it ran briefly. However, it was popular and they ended up posting so many times that they decided to do the decent thing, and cease cluttering up the other thread, and give their show it's own.

Finally, I'd like to say that as an individual, you are entitled to your own opinions, a kindness you are quite clearly not willing to reciprocate, and it is not my place to change them or insult them. Instead, I only wish to educate you, and also to defend others whom you so senselessly attacked. So please, actually read this post, instead of seeing that it does not agree with you, and so blithely reply angrily. I would also ask that you allow people freedom to express themselves, no matter how ridiculous it may seem to you. Try to accept other's opinions, instead of trying so hard to change them to better suit you.

If you use the same standards of "Immaturity" that you are imposing upon us, then you yourself are even more immature, as the truly mature thing to do would be not to come in and start flaming us, but instead to politely make a goddamn request here, and if we decided to ignore it (although this would be likely), then to pm Stardock support, mods, or other staff. 

Yes, I have looked at your poll thread.

It is my belief (and I have actually studied human behavior, even though I'm no psychologist) that the human mind requires an outlet from the pent up restrictions of the day. Usually this is done through dreams, but by simply posting random and pointless things in such threads that is is allowed, this pent up frustration/annoyance/anger/whatever you want to call it is released, thus being healthy for the human mind and proverbial spirit.

Every Forum needs a place for randomness so that it is not put across the other threads that are supposed t have a point.  "Off-topic" topic is the generally accepted location for such a thread, should there not be a specifically labeled topic, and as such, this thread has no reason to be deleted.

Your attitude and replies have led me to believe that you are likely a "pompous, stuck up, arrogant, full of him/herself thirteen-year-old".  By that I am merely reffering to a certain attitude/way of thinking, and is it not intended for offense.

I do not intend to insult you or your beliefs, and if this has done so, then I apologize.  But despite this, my point stands.  No matter how immature you believe we may be, by applying the same thinking to yourself and the others that decided to participate in the poll on your ToE forum thread, you are many times as immature as we are.

You are right Cypher, I did not want a flame war at all, I have nothing against ToE, I used to play GC2 before sins, All I though that EmperorSeth and some other guy was being a little bit on rude side calling us immature and this stupid and should be here at all, that I was stating back that they were a little rude, not pointing at ToE, just certain people. This place is for us to have fun and chit chat.

By here do you ean the Sins forum, cause honesy, on GC2 I have 25 karma. But anyays, the reason why I am calling this thread is immature is simply because, threads like this are considred spam and have no point and threads are ment to have point. Why should folks give a frak that you don't like swearing. Thats a independant site that allows all types of behaviour. Don't like it fine, since you have no reason to come to that site you should have no trouble ever seeing it again.

Just cause some folks on a website hate your thread that is no reason to single all those folks out. Flame the posters here all you like, it's actually made this thread readable.

This thread has a point? And it is? Seth's posts are easily ledgible, he is a kid happily acts like it, something you might try.

The entire point of my rant is to point out that even though this may be in OT it still shows up on the recent posts list, along with another frakking thread from your guys.

I am on a gaming site and instead of being greeted with recent posts about that game i get this crap stuffed down my throat. your threads contain no topic that is legiable to a great deal of people, you are not in the slightest contributing to the community with it and you admit so. So the argument of "if i don't like it why did i come in here and post" is invalid. I see these silly posts all the time, when i should be seeing site relative stuff.

Another reason why the OT threads should not be connected to the recent posts lists, or SINS to GC2.

Wouldn't this type of thread be better suited to a rolepleying fantasy website? That is what pisses folks off.

Of course now your pithy arguments and false assumptions may do so as well, luckily i think it's funny as hell to see a kid pwn you guys. To see you get all rilled up over this is awesome.

If you don't want to see the off-topic threads, then don't go into the site-wide recent posts section.  open up GalCiv2 general topic or whatever it's called on that site.
