Theories and Fairy Tales
As was mentioned many times before, the evolution of one species into two can be observed in the lab. I believe they usually use fruitflies.
The theory of evolution says that what works in the lab explains what happened in the real world as well. There is no reason to assume that fruitflies (or any animal) stop reproducing just before two populations stop being compatible enough to interbreed (definition of species).

Experimental Creationism
To make Creationism a science, you'd have to start with some experiments.Have there ever been successful lab experiments demonstrating how a god creates life (let alone two different lifeforms)?

The Word on Creationism
What opponents of evolution (and other theories) don't understand is that science is not about finding the truth (that is best left to philosophy professors) but about finding out something useful about this world.The predictions of theories can be used in engineering and other fields. Applications of the theory of evolution have been used successfully in such diverse fields as medicine and (yes) computer science. Evolution is solid, a tool that we can use to advance.

Evidence for Intelligent Design
When I entered the office this morning I noticed a strange construction (I thought), which looked like two rooms with double doors that opened when I pressed a button. The rooms were not immediately obvious to me since the doors failed to open until quite some time after I pressed what looked like the doorbell.
Since my desk is on the sixth floor I decided to press the button with the number 6. This room must be magic of some kind, or a very complex construction/design.
The room moved upwards, following a glass tunnel and the door finally opened again in the sixth floor and I wasn't far from my desk any more.
Conclusions
The point is that the _theory_ explains HOW it might work and we have evidence (the stairs) and can demonstrate in the lab that the method DOES work.
For someone who knows that Creationism is science, obtaining the necessary gods for casual experiments is probably as easy a task as obtaining fruit flies is for those scientists who see a difference between Creationism and science.
Teaching Creationism has never helped a society and is bringing down many.
The Bible tells the story of a man and his family and animals living in a valley region in northern Mesopotamia, where floods happen a lot, who when he was 50 years old built a boat to rescue his family and animals when the land was flooded. And he landed on the hills next to the flooded valley land.
From all this I deduce that the designer of the magic room is a designer who is not perfect, not all-knowing, and not all-powerful; he was indeed, I am sure, a man (or possibly a woman).
