Do you have trouble running ObjectDock on your Acer-computer? From the amount of topics concerning this I would say "Yes". There's quite a few solutions posted already, but I have found the best one that does not include renaming files or uninstalling the bastardized program that Acer's Empowering Technology is.
ObjectDock shares the exact same problem as a certain Dreamweaver does. Both programs have problems with the file PSDProtect.dll. Adobe knows that people that can't run their programs are lost customers, so there's been a patch made by Acer that will fix the problem and let you run Dreamweaver again.Conveniently enough, it will also let you run ObjectDock.
You can find the patch here http://www.egistec.com/oem-acer001/program-update.htmlJust download the bottom-most patch and run, then reboot and the voila, ObjectDock is once again working.Along with your Dreamweaver of course.
...I wish someone would pay me for going out of my way writing this 4 AM in the morning.
I run it fine on my acer laptop I uninstall edata secuirty doesn't play nice with MS Office 2007
I've got ObjectDock working on my Acer, but I've noticed that everytime I reboot, I have to go into options and set OD to not be on top all the time. Will this fix it?
This is the only issue I am having also
