It's good man and challenging. Graphics are beautiful too. U have to buy it.
Greatly enjoying it so far. It's got a good atmosphere and dismembering things with ordinary-like weapons is fun. It does make you want to keep playing it to see where the story goes, but for me there's not much 'horror' in it. Maybe I'm just desensitized
It looks like a great game but it is on my boycott list since EA is behind it. Sadly I really wanted to get it - not that I would have time to really play it but that is another story.

No doubt. Soemone must have been living under a rock fora very long time not to know what is wrong with EA or at least a total newbie to gaming in general.
well i have been living under a rock for a long time, and i am not a noob to vedio games. yes EA has had its ups and downs it had more downs then up in the past few years but dead space is an up...
THIS GAME IS AWESOME!
And to those people who said it isn't scary, I'll have to disagree with you. Playing this game at night, by yourself, with all of the lights off and the sound up loud...holy shit, it's a scary experience!
Wonderful game, I was really surprised that EA spit it out.

Yeah I found it kinda of shocking that men at the top to such a risk in making this game. It's sad that a game the developers put their heart and soul in gets put down because its from EA. It's not the devs fault....

Even though it looks to be an awesome game it's also on my 'no-buy' list due to the DRM. I will not support the type of DRM that's cropping up on games like this, BioShock, Spore, Mass Effect, Far Cry 2, Red Alert 3, etc. Yes, it means the devs suffer, but there is no way I'm going to spend money and show any kind of support for the use of this DRM. And yes, I'm serious.

Dead Space is better on console anyway. That kind of game just screams "Big screen HDTV!"
then get connect your pc to large monitor , thing i like about pc games over console = that you can change stuff.....

I heard you get some kinda of super armor on XBL! Luckily I go the correct version!
It's not really super armor. It's just a level 5 suit quicker. It maxes out your inventory space, but doesn't offer any more armor than a level 2 suit. I dunno if the regular level 5 suit goes higher than 10%.. but that inventory space sure helps when you're playing on Impossible.
I am not touching it as long as the DRM deal is on.
I have 4 pc where I access the game that means I can't always play where I am at. So forget it. I pay for limited play. Then I want a discount on the price which will never happen.
