Hi everyone who read this post. I got the game not too long ago and i need help. First question. What race should a noob be (Me)? Second. I have problems with economy (any race), I also have diversity issues, as in i only build one type of ship. Also what game type should I play for start, as in teams or no teams? locked or unlocked teams? Thst is the question.Any help will be very appreciated. Thank you!
A noob should be Advent. Real easy to win as (but some spammers do that so they win)

Have you tried playing throught the tutorials? For your economy that can help a lot. Also, when you first colonize planets you can get a 'planet underdevelopment penalty' which means you lose money until you upgrade your civilian infrastructure.
I dont think it matters what race you start as, they all have their issues and strengths. Its a matter of playing until you understand what they are and how to overcome an issue or use a strength.
When you colonise, you need to upgrade the infrastructure of the planet to avoid a panelty. Ignoring this can mean you never have any money, so when you colonise, you need to do an upgrade or 2 to the planet itself to remove the panelty.
Lock the teams.
Turn off Pirates.
You shouldnt only build one sort of ship. The game isnt built that way. Every ship has a counter to something else, so each ship also has another one out there that renders it impotent or vulnerable. Each ship has a purpose, so fleets that have all ships have all the bases covered.
Unless I hear otherwise from the post originator, judging by his questions and his name, this thread is actually a spoof of all the kinds of questions noobs generally ask and was meant as a joke.

Well, since you know about the forums, you are ahead of 99% of the noobs out there. There are multiple posts in the strategy section on how to play and how to play well. I first suggest you play the tutorials and then play a little bit. If you are having trouble, try searching the strategy section of the forums, some people have put a lot of effort in on some of their threads, particularly Raging Amish. Good luck to you.
