Read some of the posts here saying something about checking the lower resolution option during install to fix this problem. I saw no option during install(maybe to save space?). any suggestions?

I am having the same install problem. I bought SR2 at a Best buy almost 2 years ago, now I buy the expansion online and download it and niether the game or expansion will run, on top of that SR2 has an update that I can't get because I can find the original hard copy registration key.( Where is that printed anyhow?) I will certainly look for it but doubt I will find it as I have moved a few times since then and excess paper stuff tends to get thrown out. Any help would be nice otherwise I just wasted several hours and $19.95.

Falcobarber - You shouldn't be having any trouble if you're updating from a retail copy of the game. Please contact support@stardock.com for assistance with this. If nothing else, you can get a refund for your Reboot purchase if we can't make it work.
