Hi fellow Sinners

I just love this game, but I was just wondering is it possible to turn off the pirates in the game or at least when you attack a pirates stronghold and destroy it the ai should give you a breather  ?

The reason why I ask is because on normal mode in any of the skirmishes those damn raiders come in with a massive fleet like one of the enemy star nations! not that I am crying mind you because I am really enjoying the game as a whole and I think this is one of those games that is highly addictive.
