I figured it would be best if the mod project indexes were broken down into broad types.Consequently the creation of this thread to be used as a quick reference thread for all general, basic or simple mod projects that are not long term in nature or really require a big team of people to produce. I guess some people would call projects of this nature "mini-mods". The data structure for this thread is the same as the Major Mod Project thread for consistency purposes and familiarity reasons. For anyone not familiar with the format it is as follows:1. Name - The franchise brand name - self explanatory.2. PoC - Point of Contact - The person who is apparently leading the project.3. URL - Universal Resource Locater - The domain the project will be based at for the community.4. Info - General information and overview - self explanatory.5. Link - Threads on this forum related to the project.6. Vrsn - What version of the game your mod has been developed for.Currently we have the following projects in the works for the community. The projects are listed as they are posted to the thread. After we have several I will list them alphabetically and not in any order of preference or priority. I would like it if project developers could make a quick description of their project for inclusion in this thread and provide any other relevant information that is listed as "need" so all the new blood can easily understand what is going on with what and with whom. I will also add links to the appropriate primary thread within this community as well as make links back to the project leaders once confirmed. The same goes for the websites and development forums. The banners will be replaced with one for the project when an official one is made available. Name: Capital Ship Hard Shields (CSHS) PoC: SEB9URL: Download Info: A simple Mod that works on the premise that Shielding technology is bulky and requires a huge amount of energy to form and project a shield around a ship. Therefore only Captial ships have the size to mount and operate a Shield system, every other class of ship is unshielded. The shields formed are 'Hard Shields', which means that the shield does not automatically regenerate. Once a shield takes damage, it remains at the new level until its re-formed and projected. To acheive a rebuild of the shield, a new Ability has been added to all Capitalships - Shield Restore (a modification of the existing Ability). This Ability is expensive and basically dumps a quantity of Antimatter into the shield energizer which in turn re-forms the shield, but not fully. The new Ability is Intrinsic and is set to Autocast by default. It has 3 Levels which increase the amount of shield points restored.
