Groupy has been even more unstable than usual lately. I mainly use it for OneNote. But sometimes it stops working properly as soon as I open a second window. Sometimes it still looks fine in normal window mode:
But maximized, it looks like this:
You see this white line above the window and then the background image, where Groupy should be visible.
And if I open Groupy, it looks like this:
But if I close everything from Groupy (service included) in task manager, it won't run.
It will only work again correctly if I reboot the PC.

Yes, it may be possible to resolve this by closing Explorer, but that is not a permanent solution. I usually have many Explorer windows or tabs open that I do not wish to close. Therefore, it would be best if these errors could be fixed in the Groupy software.
Great, Please try, uninstall Groupy, reboot immediately (important), download latest version available in your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back.

Perhaps try Clean boot and see which of your other application is causing the instability issue: https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1346994300/Groupy+Clean+Boot. Do not Clean Boot need to be done with care. Try it and report back.
Does the groupy config window always look black or only when things start to act oddly?
