May is here already.
Let Us See Your Creations, and feel free to Discuss All Things AI /Walls and Art
Power Over Water
I'm linking to an AI wallpaper I like because I don't own it.
"Eternal Roads of Twilight Dreams"
Iben, no worries: There's no intellectual property violation in posting any AI wallpaper from any source, so far. The issue might actually be whether AI "lifted" bits of images from many different sources. At any rate, posting an AI mediated image isn't problematic. Case in point: Jafo suggested the creation of this thread to naroon1.
So, you can go ahead and post it. You can also add a comment such as, "I didn't prompt this image.", but there's no rule saying you must.
Until "The World" creates International Copyright Laws that include AI 'generated' graphics specifically there is absolutely no restriction on their posting.
Sad reality is that nothing anyone ever currently 'creates' using AI can be legally 'owned'.... even by the person who did all the button clicking.
AI art creation is still a cloudy area. The site i use does have the option to include "An Artist Overlay" which clearly shows who created it and on what platform, this can be set to show or to hide, and as you can see my creations here, mine is set to hide, but other artists prefer to leave it on show so they can try to Monetize their creations on say DeviantArt, they then remove the watermark at the point of sale.
The site i use has strict rules about Uploads, ie "You must not upload content that you don't own or didn't create yourself." If you break these rules you can have your account deleted. Not all sites are as strictly regulated as the site i use. I have actually seen some of my work posted by Others on Deviant Claiming it as there own work.
AI Artworks are becoming more and more popular as my Monthly Topics can get around 30 to 50 thousand views in that month, Its certainly starting to creep into lots of everyday uses, soon the majority of Artworks will be AI generated as tech gets better and better.
We have all suffered that.... welcome to the party.
Of course back then it was genuine creation with no AI of any kind and yet it still happened. Difference is that Copyright Laws exist for that just as in the 'real world'.
There was a time when if you had NOT been ripped it meant you simply hadn't done anything yet.
Some tried to claim credit...others simply wanted to damage your reputation.
I do recall being offered by a mate in the UK to "drop in" on the ripper of one of mine... he'd done a back-trace and found the ripper lived "just up the road" from him.
As I recall I just told her "we knew where she lived so it was time to desist"... and needless to say, she desisted.
Another was a 'child' in the US ... again traced... when he was told we knew which computer... which classroom and his class teacher's name... again there was a sudden end to it all.
AI is now "out of the bag" and is an unknown quantity that LAW needs to be written for, much the same as Surrogacy - things that simply didn't exist when statutes were created ...

I will welcome Regulation in Law, because I walk it like i talk it, it has to come as voices are already being heard in the right places.
The way i see it, If Someone Steals My Creations and passes them off as their own for sale , They Must Have Value to them, as you would not post something that does not have the chance to make them money, what would be the point. If i see them on other sites for sale i report them, if peeps want to use them for personal use or as they were intended As Wallpapers, I am happy people think they are good enough to stare at on their Monitors Day In Day Out.
AI Art Works are a Natural Progression for me. It All Started Here with the ability to Skin my PC with Windowblinds, then when Windows 11 Came Out, Themes. Some of the Stock Wallpapers were good, but not 100% what a wanted them to be, matching WBs and The Themes I Was Using. So if you can not source them, why not create my own. That is the reason i chose to publicize them here and not on a site like DeviantArt. As A Power PC User (i use it for work and fun) spending 10 plus hours a day, i like others want my desktop to looks as Nice as possible, So Giving Back To Wincustomize for setting me on this path seems like the right thing to do.

Typically we protect digital rights/copyrights hence the moderation process. With the advent of the DMCA the chasing of protections was required to be done by the copyright owner directly, so things changed a bit.
I was always less than happy with the inferior due diligence of Devart's "protection" on the many occasions I went into bat for people who were being ripped.

Nice picture but isn't she missing a piece of equipment?
She is also responsible to set up Fast Roping, allowing Soldiers to exit the Chopper and get to the ground quickly. The Door Gun is on a Pivot arm allowing it to be folded inwards, allowing the Fast Rope Process.
After what seems like a Lifetime in Uniform, Man And Boy, this is something i have done numerous times. Warrant Officer is Her Rank, Door Gunner Is Just One Of Her Jobs and her Title, although she wears many hats so to speak, so nothing missing gypsy2299 , The Gun is stowed away behind Her Left But Your Right.
I other words she's the Crew Chief.
Former member of the US Army's 101st Airborne Division and the Crew Chief was responsible for Rappelling and the door gunner was less than NCO rank.
So, you can see why my question.
Plus having the "gun" would have added to the baddassery picture.
Thankyou for your service Brother.
I was an Army Cadet from 12 years old, joined The Army at 17, Raced Through the ranks Up to CSM (Company Sgt Major, or you may know it as Warrant Officer Class 2) Left the Army Still A Young Man, so became a PMC
I Have 5 Combat Tours Under My Belt, 3 In Africa, and 2 in Yugoslavia. In the UK Military Warrant Officers can do may Jobs on the Heli, Even Fly It as per there Rank , and lots of crews try to stick together. Door Gunners can be corporal, Sgt, or Warrant Officers. Experienced crews Can Have A 2nd Lieutenant pronounced (Leftennant) as Pilot with a WO2 as Door Gunner amongst other things.
Crew Chiefs in the UK are in Charge Of Ground Support Services, Re Arming, Maintenance, Re Fueling, they run there own group of Soldiers as its there job to keep the Aircraft Ready For Anything, and to set up fueling points along an extended Flight, they may have a Corporal, and several Airtroopers, which is the same as an Enlisted Man in the US.
I have Trained with members of Your Guys in the past, Good People " Train Hard Fight Easy".
Respect To You Brother.
