Could someone please explain the EXACT steps on how to fix these issues in Windowblinds 11 or Start 11 or SkinStudio 11, whichever software applies? Please refer to the red numbers on the attached screenshot).
1. How to change the status bar color.
2. How to make the desktop right click menus work like in Windows 10?
3. How to make the skin use the taskbar expander image.
4. How to make the skin use the taskbar clock text use the color specified in SkinStudio 11.
Please be very exact in describing the procedures, the Start 11 and SkinStudio 11 software products are EXTREMELY complicated. Thank you.
Yeah, that.
Download and install either WindHawk or Explorer Patcher as of right now, those are the only two solutions to restore the right click menu in Windows 11
I already have both those installed, but I will look back through WindHawk I guess, thanks.
Well, I got the status bar color to change using Old New Explorer, but it did not use the text color assigned in the skin. Oh well.
It is best not to use tools like that. They may cause WB to get confused if it thinks the OS is Win11 but you suddenly throw Win10 parts at it.
That said.
1) There are new colours on the statusbar section in SKS under Extra settings. These control the statusbar on Win11.
2) Thats not a WB/SKS thing
3) You cannot in Win11 22H2 Feb 2023 or later. This is now fixed by Microsoft to be an arrow
4) This isn't something that can be controlled on Win11. Other than it is white when taskbar is set to dark mode and black when taskbar is set to light mode. It is recommended the skin set this mode accordingly as some tray icons also go black / white depending on this.
Thanks for the information Neil. So it's pretty well all thanks to good old Microsh#t.
Quick question Neil, do those extra settings changes in SKS 11 for the status bar effect Windows 10 also, or just Windows 11? Or should I make a Windows 11 sub-style?
Both 10/11 use that section.
Right click menu can be enabled with windhawk with this option enabled.
I have that setting activated in WindHawk already SimplexDesigns, but still have the Windows 11 right click menus.
