I got another proposal in comparison to just turning it off: Opacity Slider for Nebula Background. I post an example with 25% opacity. 0% opacity would be the same as original bg off and 100% would be original bg on.
If 25% is still too bright/intense for you I got an example with 5% opacity.
i really like this idea. personally, the nebula is ok for me and i really like it, but i understand that this is a medical issue when it's literally causing pain in people's eye's and heads, not to mention the people that just dont like how it makes it hard to see other stuff. not sure if it would work, we need feedback from the people who have problems with the nebulas, but in theory this might make it so that they can still see some of the beauty of the nebulas without the negative side effects. i think that this is def something worth pursuing if the people it effects think it would help.
