How To Handle Space Bugs
So you want to help us deal with space bugs huh? Well, there are plenty of them. Here we will give you some pointers on how to best help us.

0.80 Changelog
I was able to unstuck the ship via Go To menu.
Playing .80 with the Mimots today and I ran into this issue. I guess it's not technically a bug, but it is still annoying and should be fixed.
My core world has a population capacity of 2, and I have two citizens already. I want to build a colony ship so I can get one citizen off the planet, so that I'm not wasting potential growth. Since I'm playing the Mimots I know I'll get two colony ships and one of them will have to sit in dock until I can get another available citizen (since you have to leave at least one guy on the planet).
When my colony ships are ready, I get the Loading Colony Ship screen, and I load my first colonist onto the first ship. Then I get another Loading Colony Ship screen (shown below) to load the second one. Obviously, the game doesn't let me load it, so I hit 'Cancel.'
At this point, I assume that the first colony ship got loaded and the second one stayed in the shipyard. I go about playing out the turn and I play a few more turns before I realize that BOTH ships are still stuck in the shipyard, my citizen is still on the planet, and I'm wasting turns that could have gone into growing another citizen. Now, it turns out you CAN unload just one ship if you click on that ship and right click into empty space. But the 'cancel' button should really not work for both ships when I already unloaded the first one.
A few turns later, I was battling at a ship graveyard and I ran into this bug:
There are three identical enemy ships: Cutter 1, 2, and 3. They have 6 beam attack between them, so that means they each do 2 damage. If you look at the damage they inflict (in red on the right), you will see that they do up to 2 damage. However, the attack listed on the left (under "'Attack") is wrong. It says they only have 1 attack.
I only have a save file from after the battle, so I don't know how useful it will be, but I'll include it just in case.

Bugs:- Center on object does work for most objects (planets, starbases) but it does not work for ships- Techapod mining units are not built. Ressources are lost but it does not appear as module and mining is not increased- Faction precursor heirs (Altarians) does increase Maintenance but I cannot see any effect to Precursor relics- Battle Viewer often does not show the actionFeedback:- Auto colonize and center on object have the same default hotkey C- Range of a starbase touches four corners of an antimatter. This would have been counted as inside the range of the starbase for all alphas/betas before. 0.80 it is outside. Was this change intended?- Galactic Challenges to build a wonder: I would like a tooltip for the wonder in the description (costs & benefits?)- Positive: wonders cost strategic ressources. This makes the rush for strategic ressources even more exciting and once you got them you got enough manufacturing to be able to build them - not just rush them like before- Positive: leaders that give culture points- Positive: very strong one more turn feeling- Markers after battles and the opportunity to see all details and the cinematics are great!- Some visualization of civilization specific technologies would be nice- I discovered hotkey G. Farther I discovered how nice the galaxy is if you turn of the grid. With all the changes done I like the look and feel now - maybe this is important for you cause I was one who has criticised it one or two times
nah, it was always 1 short, you need the expansion of the base range (+2) to reach it. The difference now i think is that because they've started gating the base types the branch that upgrade was in won't appear under Mining Base - which is very weird since this is literally almost exclusively all it would ever be used for coz by far the most overwhelming problem is resource scarcity, i'm sure as hell not worried about fitting in 15 bases around my planets when it takes forever to just build one.
The bottom part of the Diplomats screen still doesn't show everything.
There should be a hyphen in off world. this should be the.
There should be a comma after glory and after sublime.
There should be a comma after P'tosor.
shreaded should be shredded.
I'm trying to think like a Drengin here. I think a murder should be what you call murder.
warriors should be warrior since only Zurgoz is involved. vengence shuld be vengeance and there should be a comma after it. thier should be their. I think to should be due to the actions of.
Under the Creativity ideology, the "Resourceful" option does not give the .1 increase to mining it says it does.
"Warriors" is fine here, intentional. It's explaining the cultural (collective) differences, not personal (singular) differences, so plurality is expected. Also note "citizens" (collective) is referenced and not "victim" (singular). The "died to", isn't quite right, it fits Drengin along alien-language+boofhead-culture but it's not a snug fit because this is also meant to be a leader, i think something like "their member died by the hand of such a legend." or "at the hands" would fit a little better. "due to the actions of" sounds a little too clinical or precise, doesn't feel like a strong Drengin characteristic.
@Commander4X ah ha it's now globally accessible under Liberty > Mobility Rights in the Ideology tree, +2 starbase range, and it definitely works.
You do not get my point I do not talk about the radius of the ring - to make this clear.
Before it was: line covers/touches less than 4 corners = out. Now it is: line covers/touches less or equal than 4 corners = out
I had used this rule douzens (hundreds?) of times. So I am pretty sure about it.
Ah ok, yeah i don't understand what you mean then but i did notice the starbases changed a bit and the bonus is on culture star bases but not on mining
You can't do the resource runs now without durantium even with the new mining upgrade i can only get 1.54 durantium per turn in the starting cluster, there's only 7 pieces of durantium. There's just no way i can ever justify sending one of those "yet another RNG" resource missions out there. So that leaves only the shop as the place to get durantium. Unless this is a way to get me out of that starting cluster, oh you sneaky beaks... it is isn't it.
OH GOD wait yes i DO know what you mean now, yeah it's always been if the radial line INTERSECTS (corners was an idea i had a hard time understanding, cell/hex intersection is fine tho) the object hex then it is considered OUTSIDE the AOE. That's how it was for GC3 and i've always assumed that's what it was for this too.
Unless you're saying they're using a new radial calculation that takes into account the fraction of coverage? that'd be horrible lol. I'm not getting a protractor and some kinda calculator out every time i'm setting up a mining base This franchise really does need a ghosting option so you can see the outcomes before you make a decision, same problem when choosing where to send a ship, i'm always trying to find an angle along the hex line to make sure i'm not going to send a ship through a horde of horribles that i can't even see because the FOW obscures them, requiring that i be precise, which i can't be, because no such tool exists
Unless you're saying they're using a new radial calculation that takes into account the fraction of coverage?
Yes. This is my point You need to cover more (four corners of a hex field are not enough anymore). Anyway, I just wanted to give a short note.
Oh wow just noticed they DO have a sort of ghosting system with the StarBase builders, the resources cast a line out to the star base when they're in range, nice.
There's an enemy (Green/Xeloxi) probe here, but I can't attack it because it's on top of an anomaly. When I try to, I get the "only a ship with a survey module can survey anomalies" message.
Bug: Received Gabelle by an event. She should give Compassion. But Compassion stays the sameBug?: Wierd sorting: if you recruit one leader, leaders in the center change their position. I already decided to buy two and the second was not at the place I expected – almost bought the wrong one
Got this weird bug in my game today where certain tiles of space become "blocked." You can't see which tiles are blocked, but you can't travel on them or through them. If there is an anomaly on one of the tiles, you won't be able to survey it but for some reason the AI can.
Here's the save file for this one.
Later, in the game I encountered an issue where my probe would not move along the subspace stream. It just sits on the entrance to the stream and does nothing.
Here's the save file.
I have seen the problem in your second screenshot and think I know the cause. There is a ship from another race stopped at the other end of the stream. In normal space your ship would go around the other ship, but that's not possible in a stream. Your ship would have to occupy the same tile as that ship to move to the other end of the stream. That isn't allowed, so your ship doesn't move.
I have found that I can select a destination for my ship that is past the other end of the stream. When I do that, my ship moves through the other ship to the destination. Somehow having the destination past the end of the stream allows the ship to pass through the other ship and exit the stream.
