Let's talk about what games we are currently playing!
I picked up Nebuchadnezzar recently. It's a classic city builder, and it's fun for a casual play.
Command & Conquer Remastered Collection
Last video game I completed though was Werewolf the Apocalypse Earthblood. I've also played some Dyson Sphere.
Coming up I am hoping to spend some serious hours with Evil Genius 2.
In the meantime I am spending more time running some TTRPGs.
FSX .....Skinning planes....sometimes ya gotta get reckless...particularly when chasing specular shine...
Galactic Civilizations; also, recently bulders gate, and Minecraft.
I'm currently playing GalCiv2 and started playing Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time for the first time. I'm also playing SimCity3000 on and off occasionally, building a single city and make it as pretty/realistic as possible.
I have a GalCiv3 game running, but not often I can get on the computer to play it.
I'm having a bit of a run on Suoer Smash Bros. Ultimate, and once the new patch lands, I'll have another game of Civ VI.
I'd play GalCiv3 more if it were in the Switch.
In no particular order:
Factory Town (early release)Mercury Fallen (early release)No Place Like Home (early release)Embark (early release)Going Medieval (closed beta)My Time at PortiaCiv VISpace Haven (early release)Ticket to Ride
lol, that is a lot of early release games! Oh well, having fun with pretty much all of them. And some of them sit for a while once the current build has been played and tested and waiting for a new build to release. Some games are slower/faster than others with release schedules, which is fine for me. Probably got my money's worth out of all of those so far, and there aren't any that I am worried about at this time in relation to not being further developed.
been going through the backlog of games in the last few months and running them in the background for the cards. actually ended up playing some even after cards stopped dropping.
did the obligatory ff14 free login
loop hero demo
currently playing hollow knight. (i'm really bad at platforming)
recently played backlog, in no particular order:
neurovoider
mothergunship (fps makes me feel pukey)
supraland (ditto)
pc building sim
seven
sundered (finished 1 path out of 3)
I picked this up at the Winter sale I think, and it was a nice casual game to play. I even built some PCs to see how the configuration would look before I bought the parts for my new build.
Space Haven
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
City Game Studio
Gears Tactics
Halo: Master Chief Collection
No Man's Sky
TESO
Hades
DOOM Eternal
definitely doesn't show you what the wiring would be like or at least not in details... (eg.. basically a goes to b, c goes to d.. can't really plug the wrong thing in, doesn't matter if the wire is long enough irl, etc) also not really sure about the ram.. i was under the impression that you can install pairs of different ram irl, or at least you were able to do so years ago. (eg pairs of 4gig and 2gig to give 12 total).. but apparently not in the game.
but yeah.. fairly casual.. sort of relaxing. some irritating minor issues still around after all these years. like the 1st autowiring tool is kinda stupid.. it says it'll wire things up when you power up, but in reality wire things up when you plug/screw certain things instead. eg.. you've done the job, power down to screw the side panel back on to ship it... but as soon as you put the panel on, it'll wire the thing up..
Been getting into Prodeus over the last week. It's a really fun "boomer shooter".
When you're painting [skinning] for the game it means you're doing a lot of flying...but not really going anywhere. This one's about ready for release, along with 3 earlier versions of the same plane [there is only one of 'em]...
The games I've played in the last month or two... Playtime in order
Dyson Sphere Program (Early Access)
Galactic Civilizations III
Cities: Skylines
Empyrion - Galactic Survival
I am so deep into Valheim right now, it's not even funny. My friends and I have a dedicated server and we are having an absolute blast exploring and building together.
Going through the motions in Warframe and waiting for new content to drop.
Finished Valkyria Chronicles, still have a few achievements to unlock, but I'm in no hurry.
Decided to give Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III a chance and see what all the hubbub is about, it makes me want to play Dark Crusade or Soulstorm instead.
Tried Warhammer 40,000: Gladius - Relics of War and found it to be rather fun and somewhat challenging.
And I have few more story missions to do in Shining Song Starnova: Idol Empire and I will finish it.
Baldur's Gate 3 early access
Solasta early access
Galactic Civilization 3
was playing Axis and Allies until I got bored of it.
I never finished Disco Elysium so now that the full voice acting update is out I've started a new playthrough.
I picked up Mars Horizon in a sale. It was a fun sim management game that you could play casually.
Oh, this game is really interesting.
Lately? GC3, DCS (Digital Combat Simulator), IL-2, Total War: Warhammer 2, XCOM2 have seen the most play...
I played way too much of Evil Genius 2 this break.
I snagged this on Steam a couple days ago. It's been pretty fun so far. Still in early access, but showing a lot of promise.
