I've been playing a lot of city builder games lately and started to really think about why I find certain ones more enjoyable than others. I agree that it does depend on what mood someone is in but I find myself going back to games like Foundation instead of more established games like City: Skylines or Tropico. To me, Foundation makes it easier to start a game and manage production chains. It's also one of the few city builders that I just enjoy watching my little people play out their lives.
I'm curious to hear from the other city builder fans in the community why you like playing them, and is there something that makes a certain one stand out to you?
