I restarted the campaign trying to beat my old noob scores. I just played the first mission.
- It's not possible to interrupt the "intro" which is really annoying. I don't want to fly over the map and be explained the same things I learned already ages ago. If I place a tower I want the intro to stop.
- there's no points given for the objectives (at least the first mission) makes beating my old score impossible
- if I try to place a tower closer to the edge of the viewport the game does not allow it, even when the grid is illuminated so that it should be possible. I need to scroll the map so that the tower placement is slightly closer to the center. It's annoying and makes playing less fluid than it needs to be. It's close to being a deal breaker for me. Either auto center the map when it happens or don't highlight the grid so that it indicates it was possible to place a tower there.
I'm not sure what you mean by that last one. The others I will let folks know.
Looks like the score from objectives is fixed according to change log.The problem placing the towers... I try to explain it.
- select a tower to be placed.- try to place it into squares close to the viewport edge. The grid gets illuminated under the tower indicating the tower can be placed there. Click mouse to place it.
Expected result: the tower gets placed there.
What actually happens: it's not placed.
This indicates the highlighting of the grid is wrong in some cases, or placement of the towers is buggy.

Are you having this issue on all maps, or a specific map and location? If we can pinpoint the location of where you are seeing the issue we can get it corrected. Thank you for the additional details!

When I try to build on the edge of the cliff, the ground transforms into a strange shape.
After that, the grid will not works properly after the terrain is broken.

Hoo boy that's an issue.
I tried to reproduce it with the latest beta, but so far I haven't been able to. Makes me question myself a little if it was a valid complain or not... I'm only on the third map though and it was in the later maps that I started to pay attention to it.
Let us know if you can reproduce it. A lot is still in in flux between versions so it’s important to know if a bug is happening on a current build and how we can recreate it.
It probably happens everywhere where cliffs (altitudes lower than the ground) are adjacent.
I always use mortars because mortar towers can not be confused by the ground.

I think that Ashes's engine calculates the average of the ground altitude, and transforms that according to the calculation result.

I was able to recreate the bahavior as well. We'll work on getting it fixed. Thank you for reporting!!!
I managed to reproduce it, but unfortunately I forgot how to take screenshots with steam. (yes never did that before) and now I can't seem to find the map where it happened, as I have to do some earlier missions again to reach that map where it happened.
I found another issue though, where the upgrade points can be below zero, and probably allow me to spend endless amounts of them on the towers. But then the game complains about core spending limit of 6.So I'm not sure if it was a design decision to allow spending points that can't be actually used, but it's kind of confusing. So either inform the player before he spends points that can't be actually used before other points are removed. Or don't allow spending them in the first place.

Ok, I found some...
On Rul the ingame screen only mentions one objective, but mission briefing mentions second objective (upgrade 13 towers).
Also some places where the placement grid is green, but clicking mouse button does nothing. (screenshots) If the screen scrolls closer to the position, the tower can be placed.

Yes. You can't launch the mission with upgrade points in the negative. But you may be right that it is easier to not allow players to spend int he negative int he first place.
